Yessssss!!!!!!! Now i am really really curieus what the record will sound like. I know Bent did some drumming on a few other songs, so he can drum. Let's hope he is a lot better than Josh Homme on the Eagles of Death Metal album.......

But why does it takes so long to the release date? Isn't all the stuff recorded yet? Mixing it up will not take half a year, I think.

it normally takes that long to give the record companies time to get pre release press done and get a buzz going about the album so that by the time it comes out we'll all be making a bit of a mess in our pants smiling smiley

It's not just mixing it (which probably takes 1-2 months). It's Mastering, Cover-layout (hope for Kim this time too), manufacturing of covers/cd's/LP's, gig-planning regarding the release, posters, etc. etc.

But of course, I really want it sooner. Nothing like a new MP-album in the autumn.
Well well...

maybe the band has not even finished the recording itself? i mean, as far as i know they went to the studio only to capture some ideas in the first place.

Well, let them share their ideas to us then!
I believe, after not playing together for so long, Bent and Snah wouldn't waste time getting some good stuff on tape.

Hopefully there's been going a lot of improv going on on these new sessions. Like the 'trust us' ones. Not too much of arrange arrange so that it loses spontaneity. Anyway, they're all genius, and wonder if Snah is doing some basses as well! winking smiley Seems a bit of a Timothy's Monster workflow I guess.
Really curious what musical terrains they'll be wandering on these days.

From a very, very reliable source, I heard MP has got a drummer. Now Bent may have taken the drums for the recs, I guess he's not doing that streetmusician-like 'drummer with bass around his neck' at the same time for some live stuff. So, the quest arises once more; who the hell is that new drummer?

Keep us confused, MP! :p
