Yr favorite live versions of BH/BC songs

Now that the first tour is over most of us have gotten to se them live. Which songs really did it for you of the new songs?

My two favorites are Kill Devil Hills and Devil Dog. Kill Devil Hills had a really cool outtro - very noisy. Thurston and Lee would have been proud! On Devil Dog it was really cool that Bent played the acoustic guitar part on the bass instead - with chords!

I liked hyena and Devil dog best as I remember.
I had hoped for critical mass, but they didn't play it.

I really enjoyed coalmine pony -my fav from bh/bc, no evil (really rocks!!!) and sail on...oh and obviously Bonnie Lee...a masterpiece!!!!!!!

My favorite BH/BC song live must be Kill Devil Hills. I also think Hyena will be on the setlist for the nect coming years.I truly love that song, it has the same singalong power ike You Lied.

The 29th Bulletin, Hyena, No Evil and Kill Devil Hills were great, but In Our Tree was the highlight for me. I was hoping for LTEC and Coalmine Pony, but they didn't play those that night...

from what i saw, i would say i like critical mass the most. a great opener! it was massive!

also highlighting for me were the 29th bulletin, devil dog & triggerman. atmosphere. rock! great! and of course kill devil hills....noise!

hmm, since the concert i really love disc 1!!



i don´t know why, but hyena does not work for me at all sad smiley

To my mind, it's Devil Dog.

Too bad they didnt perform Triggerman in Köln, thats my favourite BHBC Song.

I think Triggerman worked really well, as did Kill Devil Hills, Hyena and You Lose.

Strangely I really liked the long versions of You Loose, like the opening in Münster. I don't like that song on the cd

Critical Mass sucked live in my opinion. Bonny Lee was very good and rocking.

I wasn't very fond of You Lose the way they played it in Paradiso, but it's one of my favorites fof the second disc, strangely enough.

Triggerman also worked pretty well with me live. I now like the albumversion more because of it.

The songs I mentioned (Devil Dog & Kill Devil Hills) is also my favorites from the cd. The song I think improved most in the transfer album -> live was actually L.T.E.C.

the song i enjoyed live the most was LTEC. it works so much better than on the album. and i think a lot can be done with that song on stage. to me, it has the potential to be the new 'my best friend'.

strangely, i didn't enjoy you lose very much either. i had expected that to be one of my favourites, too.

I saw Critical mass mentioned only once, so they must have played it then. Did anyone else hear it live?

Yep, they played it several times. I've heard it three times, in Münster, Kopenhagen and Hamburg.

I would say it's very good, but not quite a highlight.

Hm... what did I like most of the new songs? No Evil, Hyena, Bonny Lee. The 29th Bulletin was also marvellous. The other ones were great too, no flaws as I see it. =)

No Evil is really made to rock hard live, this one really kicks ass.

Kill Devil Hills, of course kicks ass too, pushed by the over and over again looped exploding bombs video of Picah (dunno if it's the right writing) during the heavy last part of the song.

But my favorite was Triggermann, especially with its improvising quiet jazzy middle part (like played in Hamburg i.e.).

I heard Critical Mass live too. Vocally I thought the verses sounded terrible, Bent and Snah sang octaves instead of the harmony they do on the record.

best song on BH/BC!

it made my day when they played it here in trondheim, although
the sound was quite crap.

am i the only one who really loves that song?
