Yes, try Switch, it is great, and you can convert inte all kinds of different formats. It is free as well. I also want to thank you for the show, cant believe I missed the tour. I will wait for another chance this autumn I suspect. Would love to hear other recordings as well, and try to keep them in lossless format, i promise!

Thanks a bunch, Switch seems to be working great. And yes, I'm even more thankful for the show. If anyone recorded the Copenhagen gig, wich I attended, I would die to hear it.

I'm uploading it (I guess that makes me a seeder!?), but for some reason only at 0-3kB/s. I uploaded it quicker when I downloaded it... Strange.

wait til you guys hear rostock -- i thought it was just the magic of the moment that made me overpraise this show but on CD it comes across just as far out & magic! generally there are many more recordings to look forward to, most of them definitely in way better sound than darmstadt!

i managed to pimp the darmstadt recording quite well (i don't know how good compared to goldenblissarddemon's effort tho') so i'm quite happy with that. triggerman/manmower, the whell and chien... it does get any better? great to hear! cant wait.

i dont know how to upload, i try on rapidshare.

supernaut, check the size of the file you want to upload, rapidshare has a 100mb maximum. If your file is bigger than that you'll have to split it up in parts.

@jtr, each song is more than 100mb, unless i flac them...

Hiya gang!

Sorry for my idleness this last week. I'm just about to switch appartments in order to get my ass closer to town (and with that my workspace), so my current connection has been disabled. Hopefully i'll be online in a week or two.

About that recording; As you know, i made an alternative version of the gig. A version which sounded better than the original, atleast in my ears. Tho sice then i've been fiddling with the raw material in Cubase, and have come up with an even better way of pollishing this recording. I have made a version of the Weel that sounds very good (i compared it with the RWI version of superstooge/the weel, and it almost sounded the same.. just almost tho...had some problems with the stereo since the original recording is close to mono - tho i've come up with a way to make ...i'll call it fake stereo, making it sound both fuller and more enjoyable). I'll be treating the whole set with this, so expect alittle taster soon....And for those of you still interested in the first pollished show; I'll be upping it tomorrow. And just to be sure that there's no misunderstanding; I'll label my version thoroughly smiling smiley

By the way....any of you psychos going to see MP at ØYA this summer?

@supernaut: you could flac them (i recommend to do so anyway) and then upload them song by song on rapidshare.
concerning other upload sites I haven't got a clue, sorry. Perhaps yousentit? Although I must admit I never used that one and also don't know how it works.

so, since blissarddemon is hard at work again and probably will come up with great results, i only uploaded "hyena". you might check it, post yr opinion and say if you want more or would rather wait for his thing. there's no sense in having various different versions around here anyway. winking smiley

i got cubase as well but with only a few plugins and stuff. this here i did with wavelab, some eq and some mastering push-ups.

Ok i've listened to it now: In my opinion it sounds better then mine! But since there's a little dispute going on about the problem with many versions of the same show, i don't know what ppl will think if you release it. Perhaps we should make a thread in here just for the ones of us who don't care about flac/mp3 discussions, release rules and such. And just share as we see fit?

Wouldn't that be nice? Wouldn't that be really really nice? smiling smiley

mine sounds better??? well, i thought i may have less treble trouble but... and i didnt do anything to widen the stereo image, so be warned you spaceheads (could try though). i guess i upload it as well and people make their choice then. winking smiley

and i noticed that actually i was working with wav.files. because wavelab converts mp3's when opening them. happened just because and i've forgotten about it. i think originally they were mp3's, right? but there's no attitude or something behind that for me. and no intention to discuss it religiously except for learning a thing or two. perfect sound? buy them records, man! smiling smiley
well no wonder i got some upload problems. ts ts...

so i could convert 'em back to mp3, flac and load 'em up so you guys don't have to wait for weeks (remember: this "hyena" i uploaded is a wav-file). i don't know how common mp3>wav converting programs are, therefore nor if you folks do have the means to convert them to fatter wav-files and neither if that's a quality boosting good idea at all. i just know my programs and thats about it... hm... what do you think?
