On another day BHBC or Trust Us would have been on the list.

Trust Us is overrated as hell and should in no way be mentioned as their best album.

Demon Box beats it any day of the week(so does most MP albums too actually).

Tussler and Fishtank dont classify as MP albums and Soothe doesnt included any songs for Rut -- in my point of view. My top three still havent changed. I didnt like the new album that much, as for me, there is more to an album than four out-jammed songs, even if they are very good. And I still cant find my peace with Trust Us, sorry.

Hi there

Off course everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but please explain. What is your beef with Trust us?
I am amazed to see it hanging at the 11th place. Not that it matters, but just to satisfy my curiosity.

To me it is really hard to make a list. It depends on the mood i'm in and on the situation which album I prefer. Love Cult is the only album that does'nt really make it to me even I love some songs a lot (what if...). So it is not possible to tell. Sorry guys.

My top 3

1. Blissard
The songs, the feel, the flow, the sequence, the production.... pure bliss.
It´s the only MP album without any shitty songs.

2.Timothys Monster
3. Demon Box



I agree with JRT, Trust Us is overrated.
I got some GREAT songs (taifun, psychonaut, hey jane), but a lot of mediocre/borderline crappy ones too (evernine, 577, ozone, mantrick ms). It probably should just be just one disc

I'll revise my previous list:

1. Timothy's Monster (forever #1. Basically flawless)
2. Little Lucid Moments (awesome, except for the end jam of Sunship)
3. Trust Us (anyone who says this is shit or overrated are crazy)

and if anyone's interested:

4. Blissard (too bad about the two non-descript songs at the end)
5. Angels & Daemons (probably the best starting point for new psychonauts. Un Chien D'espace!)
6. Phanerothyme (by far the best of their pop-trilogy)
7. BH/BC (good double-album, but could've been an AWESOME single album!)
8. Demon Box (this one IS slightly overrated. Some bonafide classics, though)
9. Let Them Eat Cake (also overrated, but the second half is pretty damn good)
10. Love Cult ( a couple of classics, but Composhit Head is the worst MP track ever)
11. Lobotomizer (2 classics, Hogwash and Frances. Otherwise meh, but historically important)
12. 8 Soothing Songs (easily their worst. Loaded and Step Inside are good, otherwise MEH)

Agree, the ending partly bumps Blissard from the top 3.

3) Motorpsycho- Greatest Hits
2) The soundtrack of the movie that never got shot
1) MTV Motorpsycho Unplugged (ofcourse)

must be "cause i'm the only one owning them.

i can only say that "blissard" is my no.1....
all the others are no.2 und 3.....and maybe 4.

@karma defect, otherdemon: I'm not too crazy, trust me ...The thing with TU is, there are some super songs on there, but as a album as a whole it never got through to me. I dont even like both openers, Evernine and Psychonaut / Ozone may have great titles, but the songs themselves ... I dont really like that much. And after that, we got some mediocre songs and some fillers and it is not so much a unity as it should/could be. Maybe with a rearranged tracklist I could like it more as an album - this way, its just a couple of songs I love off that paticular record (VS, Jane, RadFreq, Taifun, 577, etc).

And, granted, everyone has an opinion of their own. I will never like Trust Us in a way I like Timmy or LTEC, and that's that. No need calling me crazy for that. I guess it is just that I am not a prog-rock fan per se and TU is clearly a more proggy album than most others. I love the psychedelic jams *in concert*, but on record, I get tired a lot more quickly. Perhaps because of that I cant really love the new album either.

Concerning Blissard: I never get rid of the feeling that Greener and especially True Middle ruin the flow of that record. They are nice, sure, but I think they dont really fit in. But on the otherhand, I really like the two mellow songs at the end. But again, thats just me.

Oh and I also like Composite Head, and also the Slow Phasout. Yeah, you can bash me now if you want

Oh I wouldn´t bash you even though I think Composite head isn´t all that.
I guess I can understand your view on Trust us not being a whole, but rather a set of songs.
I don´t really have that problem with it because I like almost all the songs and the soundcolor and feel bind the songs for me.
However it isn´t a whole like Angels is. On the other hand poeple say Sargent peppers is a really album and John Lennon dinied that his songs had anything to do with eachother. Anyway thanks for the enlightment.
