I agree and I dont think that it is possible to transform this song into a country-tune! And also if there is a ---> given in the last song, the next song should be something which "fits"...

I think they'd manage that just perfect! Lots of tits' tunes live are more rock than country so if they decided to play that tune, I believe they'd do it just fine. Motorpsycho and the Tusslers rarely play the covers exactly like the original so I'd love to hear a redneck Tusslin' version of that tune.

don't you believe in the skills of snah and bent?
i think interstellar overdrive just fits perfect in that setlist...

c'mon guys, just imagine that tune!

I cant see it fit in at allto be honest. It`s a country show with tunes easy to listening to, a sing along crowd and high party-factor... Then a 14 minute Instellerar overdrive... Well, sorry I can`t imagine that would be a great idea, but let it go...
Re: Fantasy show/tour setlist game

It's not very likely that this cover-version of a Pink Floyd Song appears at a Tussler-show and I would suggest that it stops the whole "flow" of a country/folk/rock show and also if I remember right "Interstellar Overdrive" was already given in one or two other shows before, so let's have new ideas!

I kinda agree that Interstellar Overdrive would be very strange right there... Very cool if they pulled it off well, but... I suggest something just as crazy which might work a little better in this setting:
"Scent of a Mule" by Phish. It's a long, crazy, bluegrass-ish song that would fit very well with TITS!

Way too long. That's not even physically possible....

Oh yes it is. Die Ärzte once played over 4 hours. The fans nearly collapsed, but the band had no problems at all. And the ITS played up to 3 hours at all concerts of the 2004 tour, as far as I remember.

Well, remove Instellerar overdive and it`s 14 minutes shorter and in my opinion a better and more structured show.

Okay, I call "Scent of a Mule" 4 mins long, thats the lenght of the album version (and you dont need to jam out everything, right?) - then the concert clocks in at 212 mins ... which is pretty heavy, but possible.

and concerning Interstellar Overdrive: I dont even know this song (I like Pink Floyd, but I'm not a fan and not to familiar with the catalogue) so I cant tell if it would fit it... but completely re-arranged perhaps?

I also think it was a nice Tussler show. But what is the best show we have made up so far? I think show 8 would be a killer!

I loved the poprocker night of #8 too with loads of tracks from Timmy and the whole show closing with Golden Core. Great setlist smiling smiley
