About the artwork, I like it because it's not the typical artwork for the music you expect. Well, I haven't heard the album yet for sure but it seems to be pretty prog-like stuff, although there's poppy elements too from what I've heard from the vid-bootlegs on the net. Maybe it's not a prog-suite but a pop-suite?!

oh there's a new one by wencke myhre, too!

the cover on the norwegian pages are slightly different from the one thats on amazon. the title is not in the centre. probably none of both the final version. i am wondered if the suite is several seperated tracks or not.

anyway, as long as it is a record by motorpsycho and got the word "suite" in its tracklist it can't be nothing but awesome.

Wow, those subtitles for the suite were pretty standard proggy pretentious titles:

I) lawned (consciousness causes collapse)
II) a hoof to the head
III) hallucifuge (hyperrealistically speaking...)
IV) sweet oblivion/perfect sense

Oh man, it's just getting worse! Looks like Bent has disappeared up his own ass - again! My ex-girlfriend had this triple-CD of various prog acts with song titles such as Meditation of the Snake, and this sounds closer to that crap than I really like. No offense to you progsters. I'm still sure the music will kick ass, though.

I can't imagine the perceived problems with the artwork and proggy song subtitles (from a band notorious for little inside jokes) will get in the way of this line-up blowing our minds with their Long Little Lucid Moments. Buck up campers! Anyone know if MP will play any other US shows outside of their appearance at Terrastock in July?

James: I have no idea if they'll do more US dates other than Terrastock.
When they did Terrastock in 2002, they did three or four other US dates
in New York and Boston (if i remember correctly). But now that the Terrastock
is arranged in Louisville, Kentucky, I think it will be harder to do any other
US dates unless they get some kind of economical funding.

Manchmal passieren Dinge schneller, als man meint. So dachten Motorpsycho wohl nicht im Traum daran, dass ihr Studiobesuch so zeitig zu einem neuen Album führen würde. Doch jetzt sind sie da, die „Little Lucid Moments“. Auf dem Album finden sich insgesamt vier Stücke Musik, die als Songs zu bezeichnen wohl ein wenig untertrieben wäre – so großartig, episch und lang sind sie.

Die Stücke entstanden so live wie möglich, was der Band erlaubt, sie im Gegensatz zu den Songs der eher poppigen, orchestrierten Vorgängeralben auch live richtig rüberzubringen.

„Little Lucid Moments“ ist nach „Black Hole/Blank Canvas“ (2006) das zwölfte Studioalbum der 1989 in Trondheim gegründeten Psycho-Rock-Band und das erste mit dem neuen Schlagzeuger Kenneth Kapstad.

Sometimes things happen faster than expected. Accordingly Motorpsycho probably would not have ever thought of having their record finished that short after entering the studio. But now they are there - these little lucid moments. There are four pieces of music on the album, which simply aren't supposed to be called songs since there that awesome, epic and long. The pieces were done as live as possible so that, unlike the more poppy and orchestrated songs of the recent past, the band is able present them live appropriately.

BH/BC-followup "LLM" is the 12th studio album of the 1989-found, Trondheim-based psycho-rock-band and the first with their new drummer KK.

Looking at the new band photo (kind of official looking?) over at the MySpace MP-page, one can 't help noticing a remarkable difference in mood compared to the last band photo, the dreadful Bent and Snah one where they looked like they've been drugged, mugged and I don't know what else. This time it looks like they're quite simply having a laugh. Can one hope that this is a good omen, regarding the forthcoming release? (Lots of new positive energy, good vibes and a great, bright and fortunate future etc.?) Let's hope so.

(Rather pathetically, as a grown-up adult man of some age, I am finding myself interpreting every little sign, like an obsessed nerdy teenager (with no friends) - should I get a life do you think?)

No additional musicians, the playing is great and excellent new drummer boy Kenneth Kapstad has lifted them to a new level, we kid you not. And Kim has done a mighty fine job with the sleeve, wait til you see the inside gatefold. Speaking of gatefold, the double vinyl edition comes with 180 g vinyl and 350 g extra thick cardboard. Happy so far?

That RG-teaser is pretty cool.

Any news on the DVD, anyone?
