If you might have Samplitude, there is the ability to set CD track markers and then directly burn the CD with the program. Very cool!

The journalist thinks the jam sessions are to long, and that it is easy for a poor listener to loose the grip. Jamming can be fun on stage, but not necessary on a record, he believes. Its not their best record he says, because they hide their strongest abilities as flirting with other music styles, crazy humor and focus on the song. She Left On The Sun Ship must handle criticism again, and the journalist thinks its too long and that he don't get "hypnotized".

To some degree, i agree with him. That's kind of the same mindset i find myself in after listening to the record the whole way through (it's been about 10 times now). Although there are many killer moments where the band really rocks on, there are also some jammy moments which fail to amaze me that much, and finally take the punch out of the record to some degree (like S-L-O-T-S-S )
And while we're on that subject; Motorpsycho for me has always been the marriage between killer tunes on cd, and killer jams on stage, where they take the "finished" songs as they appear on cd, and extend them with spacey jams, different parts and so on. On LLM tho, it seems like that's already been done, if you catch my drift. It's like they actually preform a gig in my speakers when i put the record on. When reading the interviews about the album, Bent talked about this album being as close to a live Motorpsycho that they'd ever been. I assumed it had to do with the overall sound of the record, but now i understand that what he meant was the whole live experience. That's abit sad if you ask me. Cuz compared to the "old live days", when the thought "what happens now" was always present, it might seem that we now already know what we're getting. A part from some different guitar playing and/or space hooks, there's not a lot they can do to extend the songs. After all, they are already very long.
In short (and not to bitch, but...): they should have made fewer long songs, and replaced them with some more riff based short ones (like 5-6 minutes) which they then could extend the hell out of on stage. Or they should have made the long ones more intricate (with different themes and bpms), instead of having those long (and sometimes too long) jams in there.
But again, being the unpredictable pair that they are; If this is what they wanna do now, then who am i to bitch and whine. Better just learn to deal with it i guess

It's a safe sign of a listener in delight when he can't refer from getting personal when discussing the new material! If you had checked out my previous posts, instead of using your time to pick on me and my comment, you might have recognized that i've given many a positive comment about the album (which i'm currently listening to for the x'nt time). The point is that even though i'm a psychonaut and all, i won't let that get in the way of my feelings about the album. I won't be that guy hailing it as the best thing they've done, when i personally don't think so. And with freedom of speech and all, i'm entitled to share my thoughts with the lot of you, either good or bad. Read my words or simply just move on!
On the other hand; You clearly love the album very much, since you couldn't handle my comments about it. Good for you! To me, it still lacks those magic moments here and there. But though i miss things on it, i still think it's a good album, and it's certainly better then anything Postgirobygget has ever made. So there!
Oh and by the way; I love their long songs, don't get me wrong. It's the harmony between short and long that i feel is missing on this record. And further more; It's you, not me that state that they've done the same thing for the last 15 years. Kind of funny
