Why on earth would you upload a sub-standard digitalized VHS copy of something that's soon coming to DVD?

Has anyone officially confirmed that the DVD will include "this is.." ?
I don't think that this rip will in any way affect the sales of the DVD, since there's a whole lot more stuff on it!

I personaly have awaited a rip of "this is.." for quite some time, and highly applaude 2r for this info!

Good intentions?

This band's not Metallica, you know. They deserve their materials and songs to be sold the good old-fashioned way instead of being ripped off like this. It's not like they're selling millions of copies, right?

And the same goes for the little bastards who have uploaded the new album at various sites just after release...

Off course they deserve their material to be sold the old fashioned way, but hey, you can't buy the VHS anywhere! But if it is going to be released on the DVD, well, great news! I wasn't going to download the DVD anyway. I am not that interested in crappy VHS rips. Instead, there is so much mp vinyl on my shelf to enjoy!

And i did download the new album, after buying the vinyl on the day it hit the shelves. Unfortunately, my mp3 player cannot play lps.

The rip is rather good.

Put it in perspective. Most of the people who hang out in this forum is quite the Motorpsycho geek and I am pretty sure of that the most of us is going to buy the DVD when it comes out.

If the "this is..." VHS still was available to buy today I would have bought it, borrowed a VHS player and watched it till it died. Since it's no longer available (legaly) what's there to do for a desperate fan in need of his fix? Download. If there was a place I could send 200kr after the download I would've done it gladly.

I had a crappy VHS rip of This is.., and it was unwatchable. Glad to hear its coming on the DVD, hopefully.
