I got a challenge from a colleague of mine.

"Try to make him understand that Motorpsycho is a good band"

His musical tastes are basically varied, but he mainly listens to good old rock'n'roll and metal.

He wants 5 songs that he can relate to from the perspective of Metallica, Black Sabbath, Turbonegro, DumDumBoys and... Vassendgutane...

The last one is probably the easiest one, with a song from one of the Tussler-albums.

He also said that the songs have to be from their studio-albums, and that EPs are out of the question.

Anyone care to help me a little here with some suggestions?

Here are my suggestions:

Feedtime (Metallica-perspective)
The Skies Are Full Of...Wine? (Vassendgutane-perspective, Tusslerversion)
Home Of The Brave (Black Sabbath-perspective)
Psychonaut (Turbonegro-perspective)
Now It's Time To Skate (DumDum Boys-perspective)

Those were the best I could come up with.

First: your friend's a fool. By not wanting EP's or livestuff he'll never understand Motorpsycho. And what about that Fairies Wear Boots version for Sabbath reference?

Feedtime (of course, though to me it has a Helmet feel), Psychonaut or Vanishing Point (for turbonegro) and then The Nerve Tattoo, 30/30, This Otherness, Plan #1 and The Wheel to blast his mind. smiling smiley
