Who`s going to Burg Herzberg Festival ???

I need to see the guys again before they stop touring again for two years but i dont know the Festival...
It is in Hessen and it cost around 70 € ... no way to buy a ticket just for one evening..
I have no tent...
There are no other bands i know ...
...anyway...
I would spend 70€ for seeing them again but i dont know what the show will be like...
they start on saturday at 23.00 ..
If i would konow they play 2 and a half hour at least like always and there are some nice p-nauts from all around the country i would save my money....
i come from the Ruhrgebiet and riding by train is expensive also including food , drinks, cigarretes....
So who of you guys has already a ticket or is going definetly ???

i don´t have a ticket yet but i´m definetly going. Herzberg is a very funny old school hippie festival with a very nice atmosphere. I think there will be quite some psychonauts and if mp will cover some Grateful Dead songs, which they will certainly do, hundreds of 60 year old Deadheads will totally freak out. Really looking forward to see that!
And this year, there are already at least three bands i know and who are really good. (check out the MP at Herzberg threat) Last year i knew just 1 band which was Brant Bjork and the Bros and perhaps two ore three others by name and i had lots of fun.
I also found a ride via Mitfahrgelegenheit directly to the Festival from Cologne last year so this should be no problem this year too.
And for the playing time: i think they will get the time they need. Time dosn´t matter in Herzberg Space is the place!

But the weather sucked big time!

I would have so loved to go there! (but right now it seemes complicated)

Because the problem is that monday, 21st I have the final test for my intermediate diploma... and as I know they don't sell day-tickets (but I will call some hotline soon and ask somebody something about this)
... and if there is a good chance to go there only saturday and get back sunday early I will go even if it is crazy!

So many people I know a bit (from the school I used to be at) and some of my closer friends are going there together in a big group and they don't even know MP! (hope they will know them afterwards!)

The atmosphere there must be great and as I know many many people already go there for the whole week (starting monday or tuesday) even if the first concerts are thursday! And there are folks from every generation celebrating music together, different from other "normal" festivals.

b.t.w. I don't know if it is likely, but I hope that MP will appear at other festivals inbetween "Roskilde" and "Herzberg". There is almost a half month between these dates!

Does anyone know if its possible to show up with out a ticket?
it says only prepaid tickets on the webpage..
..but nothing about it beeing sold out

Hey, I was there for the first time this year, it was brilliant. My german friends bought me a ticket for my birthday which was very kind of them. Steve Harley (up close & personal) in the rain, Motopsyco (a new one on me) and the Waterboys.. Good line up, a leaky tent but as I always wished I`d been around during the Woodstock years, it was the closest thing to it! Having gone to the Stemwedefestival a few years before (full of punk type hippies) I can say hand on heart, Herzberg was the best! Hope to go again next year!
