Anyway, the EPs are very important parts of the Motorpscycho discography, tell us about your favourites.

[b]Mountain[/b]
Man, I do love Mountain. Great song, goes from rock hard stonermetal madness into psychedelic tractorbass jam with organ solos from hell, incredible stuff. Like a mountain it builds and grows, releases and builds again. Fantastic. Also, Fleshharrower, so much anger. A short pause before The House at Pooneil Corners. What can you say. Jefferson Airplane never did it better than this. Bent and Snah did a 'Hjernen er Alene'-move on this one and made it their own. At least to us psychonauts.

Psychedelic monster, saw. Incredible jam section, very Funkadelic feel to it. Also, who can resist a single track, 30 minute EP?

my favorites are:
- "antother ugly EP" (she used to be a twin!!!!, blueberry daydream)
- "the nerve tattoo" (mad sun!!)
- "starmelt EP" (flick of the wrist!!!!)

The Nerve Tattoo seconded. It features what I think is one of the very best indierock-songs ever written, Mad Sun. Unbelievable that they never released it on a full length album, it would have fit wonderfully on Blissard.

Didn't the say something about that version of mad sun being one of x songs recorded at some art academy? I seem to recall something like that being said on the band commentary on Haircuts.

Anyway, it's hard to choose amongst the singles, because they all contain wonderful tracks. But if i was to choose a favourite, it would have to be The Nerve Tattoo. Title track + that wonderful version of The Weel + Mad sun is such a sweet combo. Never really liked the geb noodlings tho. And Pale day is just weird.

Yeah, it was one of the songs recorded at the art academy 1995, the Mad Sun video on Haircuts has some nice footage of the recordings over there. It's also my favorite MP-video (but that's logical since it's one of my favorite MP-tracks).

Also, I have a sweet spot for The Sailboat Song on The Other Fool EP.

- Another Ugly EP (She Used to be a Twin (wow!), Another Ugly Tune, Blueberry daydream (wow!))
- Starmelt EP (just because of Flick of the Wrist alone... an all-time favorite)

I don't really count the "release in 3 parts" of Angels & Daemons as EPs, or the list would be really long...

It would be nice if they released one again, great way of introducing 1 or 2 new songs and give us a CD version of the covers they played last month.

Well as a Real MP fan i'd have to say that the EP "Soothe" is my one of my favorites like maybe "Another Ugly EP", it is all because like i said i am a REAL MP fan.Or maybe i am just a timothys monster fan.Or maybe i am not really a MP fan.Maybe i am just like you and we all make no difference, maybe...,..

is Soothe considered a EP? i´ve always thought of it as a mini LP (same with barracuda)

i don't know.... i think of barracuda as a proper LP, though short in MP terms..
