The residents should be mentioned. And regarding blue valentines and faith, those are albums BS said he can´t listen to anymore. Great albums nevertheless.

The Love Story of Bent Saether...
December 08, 2008 02:48PM
Records Bent is still looking for:
1.The Love Story

???
Which album is this? By whom? The soundtrack?
Re: MOTORPSYCHO's favourite album list!
December 08, 2008 04:29PM
Gong, Great band! +
Stockhousen, Brian Eno and Robert Fripp (Frippertronics) should also be mentioned.
Deathprod had a big influence on Motorpsycho so how about his influences?

About The Love Story: I'll think Bent is talking about the (Arthur Lee's) Love: Story 1966 - 1972 album. An anthology comprised of material from Love and Arthur Lee's solo dicography.
(Re?)released in 1995 as an 2cd on Rhino Records, albums of Love where original released on Elektra/WEA.
One song is co-written by Jimi Hendrix called: "The Everlasting First".
It seems that this album is hard to get because it is not out for release anymore. eBay provides a posibility so Bent, check this out:

Is this helping?

Re: MOTORPSYCHO's favourite album list!

Well, maybe we can discuss about what the best (personal taste?) or influential album (in most cases no discussion possible) of a artist or band is.
In that case I would like to take the liberty to change Van Morrison's Tupelo Honey into Astral Weeks (1968) because that is his best and most influential album by far! And one that I would put in my top 20, maybe top 10, alltime favourite albums.
But on the other hand, it's a list of Motorpsycho influences, so what would the band say about it?
Then Play On (oooh, that's also a great album!)
