Soothe Metal Cover version for sale (maybe)
March 16, 2005 08:53PM
Hi!

A lady friend of mine desperately needs money, and is currently considering selling one of her most prozed possessions: The Metal cover version of Soothe (Vinyl)

This is the info found on another page on this wonderful site:

>Motorpsycho - Soothe, VOW 027, 1992
>
>EP released on vinyl-only, 1000 ++ ex. All these songs are also on "8 >soothing...". The 100 first copies were in a handwelded, painted steel-cover >with signed and numbered insert. Side A is 45 RPM, Side B is 33 RPM.

What isn't mentioned here is that the metal covers were made by the band themselves (with some help)...

According to my friend, it is in absolutely PERFECT condition, having been played 1/4 time (I guess that means one song only...), and looks great. I will try to verify this before too long.

She's not ABSOLUTELY sure she wants to sell it yet, but she probably will.

What I need to know is the going price for this item: Have any copies been sold recently? How much are people willing to pay for it?
