Wow, this is indeed very interesting, almost exciting: mp in that special rough albini sound... "to the one true god above, here is my prayer": let them make another masterpiece.by stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)

This is true guys. I've got that "Wow, this sounds like Shellac"-Impression too when I heard IN OUR TREE for the first time. The beginning till the first singing starts definitely reminds on to that special dry Steve-Albini-Guitar-Sound. And now listening to Shellac's BILLARD PLAYER SONG as recommended by you, marc I hear this relation once more. And so it's is really exciting,by stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
yes, i got this impression too, heard these words too, means, yes he tuned his guitar during the song. and he did it well.by stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
On 06.06.06 SLAYER would like to have released their new still untitled album (reported by german magazine Metal Hammer: http://www.hammer-mag.de/Inhalt.html). But it doesn't worked cause the whole thing took too much time due to touring and waiting for buisy, buisy rick rubin. So now it's just an EP, named 'Eternal Pyre' promoting the new single 'Cult' ( http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.aby stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
same to me. cheers, rouvenby stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
No Evil is really made to rock hard live, this one really kicks ass. Kill Devil Hills, of course kicks ass too, pushed by the over and over again looped exploding bombs video of Picah (dunno if it's the right writing) during the heavy last part of the song. But my favorite was Triggermann, especially with its improvising quiet jazzy middle part (like played in Hamburg i.e.).by stereosofa - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
