eeeew, this has to be listened to on vinyl anyway. I'm not quite sure, I think in The Wheel the whole middle part is edited. Intro build up -> fat bass solo part -> loud but already final part -> fade out like on long version. Ah, Timothy, a double without any one weak song. Giftland isn't my fave though, I'd go for the other lengthy ones and then Kill Some Day or Watersound... Sometimes I can' take this album. @gert Zach also plays in the band The Ladies. Worth checking out. Nova Mob I've seen quite a few times. Few months ago Grant Hart came solo, was kinda light and shade. The songs and the passion were there, but there was something sad or rather tragic even about it. Can't really explain. He might have just as well enjoyed it. I dunno... Genesis! I mean...really! Yes that's Phil Collins there. But only on the drums, mind. I'm talking bout their early stuff with Peter Gabriel, this is so far out, I never realized that. And I guess that's where the Supersonic Scientist comes from. He gets a mention in their 26min epic "Supper's Ready", a brilliant lil' tune, from the album Foxtrot. I got the Stickman release, but like to have the Harvest one, too. When I was 12 my first ventures into not-so-commonly-known-from-the-radio music were 3 tapes given to me by my aunt, "Fireball" and "In Rock" by Deep Purple and "Meddle" by the Floyd, with the yellow/green Harvest label on it. @goldendemon I paid about 500 euros. Bought it in Switzerland, you might get it at a better price in some other europe country. www.thomann.de maybe. Bonny Lee or TGC or whatever, just something with a beat I'd like to do. Because I think I'll have a go at something rather moody & spacey myself. Oh by the way, they try to put up someting similar over in a Led Zeppelin forum. But the idea there is to really work together. Which means someone records the drums, probably in Cubase, sends those files to a bassist, then to the singer and so on. This would be nice here, too. I wrote "aimless fun" because some folks talked about a proper release and I thought I made clear what problems I see there. This shouldn't fail just because it might not get released. Sounds kinda weird to me. I mean I bought records and cd's and cd's of records I already bought the vinyl version of and dvd's and shirts, shorties and long sleeves, and bags and 7inches and hence donated bazillions already to these scoundrels!
