@The Golden Blissard Demon There´s the ERNIE BALL EB6165. It´s a stereo volume pedal which you can set on "pan", so you can mix, for example, two amps fully adjustable. Very expensive but maybe that´s what you´re looking for.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)

What I think is cool and what MP prove again that you cannot expect anything from them. Watching those bootleg vids from the latest concerts I had never thought they would do an album with 4 long tracks. That new song was always just a medley or something like that for me. I saw Colour Haze is going to play there again too. This festival brought some fame to them 2 or 3 years ago. They´re a pretty good heavy psychedelic power-trio and friends of mine so you should check them out as well! Although I don´t like that "all-hippie-stuff" too much anymore I went to see "Focus" here in Munich last monday. Man, they were REALLY good! A friend brought me and I was first sceptical due to the fact that I was probably among the 3 youngest people in the crowd, just grey haired, old men who could be my fathers, sanctifing the good ol´ times... Sure, there´s nothing compared to attending a concert in real. I would never judge any of the new stuff video cause it´s a bootleg and you really can´t hear much! But as a MP-fan you might be able to crystalize some good melodies and structures here and there and I also think they are very cool and we can expect a nice album! I like the Serpentine version but also think the singing doens´t fit exactly. But more because it´s not sung very well. Sometimes they should spend more time on practicing their singing. They can sing very well but especially during the 2006 tour I noticed that their singing was pretty much out of tune and Bent often forgot the lyrics during songs. Yep, that sounds really cool indeed! I was pretty impressed by those video clips from the Dour festival already! And a The Who cover tune... Last night I fell asleeps in front of the TV, then woke up some hours later (it was maybe 1:00am) because of some loud music screaming out of the TV. I wasn´t at the Melt Festival but I attended that 2006 show in Brüssel and the sound was just crystal clear and perfect. I doubt that it really always depends on the sound engineer. I am one myself and sometimes (even though I haven´t got that much live experience) you just can´t do anything because of certain circumstances. You can see they´re getting a little old... But they had full energy going on on stage, except for diving into the crowd or something of course... Hey, just saw Sonic Youth live here in Munich performing the whole Daydream Nation album. They played it just like on the record then came back for 5 or 6 more songs off of their new album Rather Ripped! Man, what a concert! I´ve never seen them live and you really need to, so you get that whole wall of sound experience. Just beautiful. Every MP-fan should check out this great band live. It´s no matters if the drummer´s on the left, right or center as long as he plays good! It´s more a matter what the drummer contributes to the band. As posted before BH / BC has cool drums although Bent isn´t a better drummer than Jacco surely. But it´s got soul, it´s got energy, it´s got groove, it´s got something special. For me, especially the live shows weren´t what it used to be with Geb. Maybe the new drummer can make this up. I wouldn´t say it was such a regression with BH/BC but I miss a little but of that bliss MP always stood for. Also, soundwise this album is still partly kinda weird to me although a good number of tunes are just killer. But yes, maybe one disc would´ve been enough.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)

It´s pretty much a Helmet style song done in a Motorpsycho way. Helmet is more to the point in this genre and had the ultimate drummer for riff music like this (John Stanier). Still the Motorpsycho version is very cool though!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
