Hmm... Does anyone know how to get in in Germany? Can´t find it nowhere...by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Nice article jtr! But one question: Is that really you, the guy who I met during the last German TITS-Tour with akane?!? Or has your look changed that much... ? Confused...by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
How cool is that?!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Very cool song indeed. Hope to get it here in Germany, love their last album!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Ok, tech-talk! I´ve got a little pic of my band playing a gig here in Germany: http://www.thedawnland.de/sftu11.jpg The set is from a friend. DW bass-drum with 70s Ludwig vistalite toms and a Troyan snare.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
1. Are you ready? (cool, dumbass Grand Funk Railroad cover to kickstart the how.) 2. Sister Confusion (Soothe Version) 6 mins 3. Have spacesuit, will travel (damn they never play this tune! I think S60 looks pretty cool! Hagström now builds Swedes and Super Swedes again. They aren´t too expensve (around 450 Euros) and look exactly like "the old ones". I don´t know how they sound though.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
That new song´s bass-line is pretty much like Children Of The Grave by Black Sabbath. But cool even though!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I miss Geb.. Sorry...by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Yeah, I´m Waiting For My Man rules!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Wow! Just downloaded this gem... Now I a little bit understand peeople whining about the old times...But just a little bit. This show is Motorpsycho at its best: what a funky Ozone, lengthy K9, super Superstooge, HUGE Heartattack Mac, cute Waiting For The One and Starmelt live is always just a blast! Thanks for putting this online! Danby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Hello! Can anyone tell me with which player I can watch the mms:// stream of the Oya festival show?? Media Player doesn´t want to do it... Or is the file down? Thanks, Danielby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I´ve got two bootlegs from the BH/BC-tour and Bent always screws up Devil Dog and some other lyrics...by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Watched it too... I also gotta say Jacco wasn´t in best form which he is too less in general. He still seems pretty insecure. But the recording is good, Snah a little too quiet but apart from that ok sound.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Hey, I recently downloaded a Tussler show from the last tour in Dresden. Man, I just have to say that I hope they will continue this "project" in the near future. This band really takes me very high! Not that MP wouldn´t but there´s so much affection in the Tusslers too, no one can resist! The rendition of Delta Lady at this very show is simply mindblowing! Hope they´ll tusslby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I liked Baard pretty much. I´ve got that Tilburg bootleg which is/was on the net for stream (VPRO? Don´t remember.). He plays great solos in Sideway Spiral and on most of the songs, partly pretty psychedelic. But yeah, the keys sometimes softened the heavier stuff. But you can´t have everything!by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I think Øyvind was a great addition to the sound. Partly he kinda did the same what Bard did on some songs. Since he can put all kind of different sounds on his vibraphon synth, this is very cool. I have to admit, my opinion on Jacco is rather average, he did a good job but nothing very special. But I may have not been to the show where he was on fire.. ? He may also need some time to get inby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Any pictures from this gig on the net?! Saw several people with cameras...by Daniel - Setlists (Old)
Just got back from the concert (I flew there!)... Have to say the first 30 Min where completely mind blowing, haven´t seen Un Chien live yet but this almost brought tears in my eyes... Indeed it was a very psychedelic, spaced out show, with Snah doing some great noisy work. The sound and venue was pretty perfect. The crowd was superb: In the quiet parts you could even hear Bent´s guitar-sby Daniel - Setlists (Old)
The main riff reminds of No Evil but even though a pretty cool song.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Hmm... Ok. First of all I think it depends on the size of the venue, since in a huge hall you won´t get anywhere without a PA and everything is miked on the stage and put on the PA. In MPs case it is a little difficult cause the clubs they play differ in size and general sound quality. There is the stereotype sound engineer standard opinion: Amps as quiet as possible, drummer should play quietby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Snare: important instrument in a drum set. in the beat "bum-chack-bum-chack","chack" is the snare drum and "bum" is the bass drum. The drum has snares on the bottom-skin so it has the typical "snare-sound". Orange, Hiwatt and AC30 are amps. Find out the difference yourself! It´s a matter of taste. But all of them are typical vintage tube amps used inby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Just googled on the "See No Evil"-thing. Didn´t know this: http://searchwarp.com/swa2800.htm And the monkeys from the shirt I posted above: http://www.onlinediscountmart.com/seenoevil-hearnoevil-speaknoevil.html Danby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I may have the coolest MP-Shirt ever! Check this out (don´t have a digi-cam so I had to scan it): http://dawn.online.de/mpshirt.html I found this in a shop here in Munich. In the first place I didn´t recognize what it said on the shirt and thought it was cool, tried it and looked in the mirror... ?!?! See No Evil?! How cool!! Including glitter! Even cooler!! I´ll be in Brüsselby Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
This is all good news from this show. I NEVER believed they´d play Tristano on this tour! And finally the sound is good! Happy!by Daniel - Setlists (Old)
I would like to hear: Taifun (heard it one time back in 2000 or so, was my first musical psychedelic experience... Whip That Ghost (just love this one) Golden Core (who doesn´t?!) and maybe... The Slow Phaseout! JTR: Yeah, TITS was a GREAT experience for me too! Especially their live sets were really jaw-dropping. I really hope they´ll do another record+tour in the future.by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
JTR: Yeah, would have been cool to meet again. I´m think I won´t be able to do it to any more concerts cause I´m pretty busy at the moment. I even can´t go to see the Melvins + Fantomas today here in Munich.... ;((by Daniel - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
