Gliding back to the likings/disklikings of the album. I've actually put the whole album on hold for awhile now, after a MP overdose the 2-3 weeks after the album was released (Listening to the new Mogwai album now - Grand!). Anyway; I totally agree with you guys thinking that "Before the flood" is a rather boring, and overdone song (I was even thinking to myself one of the first times iby The Golden Blissard Demon - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Have you ever noticed.... - 16 years ago
Just alittle thing i picked up here. No biggie. Thought i'd check if anybody else has noticed the same thing -> I sat here grooving to the first BH/BC disc, and it suddently hit me; Kill Devil Hills (which is my fav on the disc) has got a rather crappy sound as opposed to for instance Coalmine Pony. That is; The sound is the same, but the hi eq level semes way to low on KDH. I wonder if itby The Golden Blissard Demon - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)

Suimasen is/was a good band indeed (Jacco does a great job). I especially like the tune "Hey". Sounds abit like MP at times, if you disregard the kind of girlish vocals. Are they still going strong? I've been using the VSTI version of the mellotron in my musical ventures. I've found that by hitting the same note after say 7 seconds will make it sound like it's one note. Your point is good, but allready been made. I actually said the same thing as you do, when discussing the meaning of the title on a topic sometime ago. Ey man...I listened to your music (the funk, the flow and the ...eeh whatyoumacallit) The Mr.Bungle stuff was abit too wierd for my liking, but the two other songs really worked (especially that guitar piece).
