...and before you non-Norwegian-speakers starts to ask - no, it is not going to be a reunion. Quite oposite, Geb says he saw the Rosendal concert before Christmas and realised after 3 songs he could never keep up... They seem to only meet now and then on social occasions these days. And I have to admit, the way they play these days with Ken... Oh boy. Even though I loved almost every single momenby Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)

Yes it was indeed world premiered on KWOD last night. And, well, what can you say? Great song! Psychopunk. Excellent! And Motorpsycho feat. Jello Biafra! How about that? More Punch on radios - now! Now the next natural thing: a Motorjello Psychobiafra political spoken word/hardcore/psychojamming US tour? Motorpallooza. Ha ha.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Relax. I think the taxi business was meant as a joke actually. Bent also said that they did quite well (better than ever) concert-wise (in the context I presume he meant financially - even though it could of course been musically. Or both in fact).by Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
Local Trondheim newspaper Adressa has (no surprise) voted LLM for best Norwegian album 2008. Not difficult to agree. The article also includes a short interview with Bent. Some translated highlights (pretty much everything actually): - LLM is the best album he has ever made, and he has made a few! - The Alchymist was initially meant to be a part of The Suite as well, but they figured out thatby Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
Now what about that range of covers: Grand Funk Railroad, Can and Miles Davis? In one show?? That's MP in a nutshell, isn't it? Heavy powertriofunk-ish kraut-prog-jazz. Man I wish I could've been there. Recording soon?by Welsh rarebit - Setlists (Old)
????????????????? Can someone please explain what the heck is going on on these pages these days? Some of the, eerh, communication going on here makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Do I have to smoke something in order to make sense of it??? Let's hope the coming MP-concerts makes more sense for you lucky enough to be there.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Anonymous User Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > f^*&%ing boring set man i hope they do a nicer one > in rotterdam Well, what do you mean, a f#&%ing boring setlist or actually a f#&%ing boring set? That's two completely different things when it comes to MP these days, isn't it? Like it or not, but this is what they do, and not a hit parade. Aby Welsh rarebit - Setlists (Old)

And the artwork is priceless! Let the Toadwork series be long and mighty (with a releasing schedule a tad more regular than its model)! Well done.by Welsh rarebit - Setlists (Old)
Seriously, 1) how much are we talking about here? 2) how much can dedicated fans actually manage to gather? A band actually owned by their fans. Wouldn't that be cool? All fans meet once a year for general assembly! Electing board members for Motorpsycho! Profit for the owners!by Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
Oh, but there's more (on second thoughts). On the Go to California video, aren't they kind of on a beach there as well? In very odd costumes for a trip to the beach though, but still. Three times in 18 years then. Beach bums.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Nah, well, actually, I think you have to change that one as well. Check the Sinful, Windborne video (I think it was), they have at least once been at a beach, it's on tape.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Flipped through the Classic Rock magazine in the store the other day - a nice LLM review with 8 out of 10 whatevers. Nothing on the web as far as I could see. Does this mean that Motorpsycho now can be counted as a "classic rock" act? Alongside Uriah Heep, Meat Loaf, Def Leppard and Van Halen?by Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
And the most interesting maybe, apart from the sweet fact that it was Motorpsycho fans who got Terrastock 7 to Louisville so they could see them live, is that the accompanying interview says that they are going to record for three days with Steve Albini in Chicago while they're there. How to find the hidden tracks on your DVD-player: When you're on the "play all" option of the Roadwork III menu, your left arrow should take you to the upper right corner. Then continue down. At the bottom, left arrow again. These ones should take you to the extra Hogwash, the Demon box release party, some pre-Gebhardt interview, an acoustic Sister confusion and some unrecognizable earlby Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Havent got through it all yet, but some really cool old stuff and funny moments. But the highlight so far is still the Paradiso gig, even though I've seen it many many times before. 577 is on right now, loud. AND MAN, IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO F***ING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!! One thing is absolutely clear, there is now a growing popular demand for a Roadwork IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and so on. Iby Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Nice one, especially if you speak Norwegian. If not, you can still enjoy what must be the first ever recording of MP playing (or rehearsing) Fairies Wear Boots, from what must be the soundcheck before the Steinkjer gig which opened the tour. So a definite "first"!by Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
Means "x as highest position" , also stated is the number of weeks on the chart and which year. MP is a band that sells an awful lot the first week and then disappears rather quickly off the charts. Reason? Very dedicated fans who all tend to buy the album the first week, preferably on the day it's released. That's the way we are.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
Yeah, that review was a laugh! One part clueless, one part hostile, and written in the language of a not particularly talented fourteen-year-old who tries to be funny. Excellent entertainment!by Welsh rarebit - Media stories (Old)
I don't really know these things, but wouldn't it be fair to say that Motorpsycho now has one hell of a rhythm section?? Holy christ how they rock on Hallucifuge!by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
All I can say is ... glæ' dåkk! (Trøndersk and means look forward to it.) Holy crap, this is an instant classic! You're stunned, amazed, overwhelmed, confused after one go, it's just too much to take in. But then, after a second try it starts to fall into place (space). Thanks. (It's Rarebit, not Rabbit by the way. Kind of Welsh national dish. Well, just a sandwich really.) Shame on Dagbladet and Aftenposten who don't put it out on the web, then.by Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
I guess that in this modern, digitalized times a lot of people would consider vinyl only releases rarieties in themselves. You know, a lot of people don't even own the piece of equipment you need to actually play vinyl any more. They really should however, but that's another question. Oh, and by the way. I've kinda listened a lot to the '02 Paradiso gig as well, but man, the way they absolutely nail Stained glass, Hogwash and 577 - I could listened to those in eternity. Holy m****rf***in' christ, they're good! I wouldn't mind having them in top notch quality DVD format. A lot of the other stuff on that concert is quite mediocre (I mean, Circles, to name only one, man, that's aby Welsh rarebit - Motorpsycho discussion (Old)
The best interview ever in Dagbladet? The sad thing is however that I can't find that on the web, nor can I find the Aftenposten article and review. And you don't easily get Norwegian papers around here. I know it is a lot to ask, but could a transcript, a scan, anything really, be possible? (Kunne forresten skrevet på norsk her ser jeg nå.)
