It has been my fourth MotorConcert, I used to see them in milano, but
in uk the Band isn't very well known so the venue was quite empty and
the atmosphere all to be warmed up : we did our best (there were
lots of italinas !!!) and... I think we got it ! I really like it 'cause
it was very intimate : MotorPsycho in my lounge while I was dancing and
singing and moving and the people soft sofa around me doing the same and
drinking and the band having fun too smiling each other and saying
thank you with snah that has such magic fingers
and gebhardt that play drums barefoot like an aborigine in the desert and
evocates dreams. I've still got all the (water)sounds in my ears : un
chien d'espace, the suite - heart breaker - hi' time - sonic teenage
guinevre - psycho naut - feel - big surprise - hey, jane - all is
loneliness - super stooge and the wheel - hog wash - young man blues -
vortex surfer.
And I spoke with them and snah told me that this is the last show and they
are going on holiday for two weeks and then come back to the studio for
the new album and on tour again in november, and also told me see you
there... and he went to oxford street and bought records and videos and
thought liked effenar gig very much and then said yes, don't worry, i
really like if you tell me that you're having fun... and gebhardt drew a
smiling face on my song list, just like in my t-shirt and really couldn't
stop smiling himself... a very very good eve.

sweet and cosmic dreams to everyone.

Guys.

Just come back from the gig in London and it was a worthy finale to the tour.

2 1/2 hrs., no serious accidents (Bent broke a string but that's all), no crowd horror stories,
and an audience of about 80++ at a good, intimate venue.

The band was well recieved, and the audience bigger than when they played last June (that time
on a Saturday - not a wednesday!). Quite a few Norwegians around, but lots of English too, and
Kjelli was more or less handing out CDs and merchandise not bothering much about pay.
I also met a couple of guys who had come over from Switserland to see the gig. (their verdict:
"Soooo intense !!!")

Songs played (apart from 1st and last, probably not in the right order):

Un Chien D'Espace (a short K9 I guess - I only got Roadwork tonight so never heard it before)
S.T.G.
Psychonaut
All is loneliness
Hogwash
Hey Jane
(new song)
