MOUNTAIN See Demon Box for lyrics/info Due to space considerations,we had to take some songs off the cd version of D.B. This was one of them, but since it -at that time-was a very important song in our live set and we all really liked it,we decided to make it the focus of our next release.Of course a 12 minute prog-rock-monster like this didn’t get much air-play ( if any ),so if it was a «comercially sane» thing to do,I don’t know. But it set the standard for future «small» Psycho releases: 5 songs,a cover and/or a re-make,some weirdness, and between 20 and 30 minutes of the motorpsychodelic experience. Besides: it’s probably the heaviest, most psychotic thing we’ve ever put out......... Now,the original was pretty cataclysmic, but I think we took it even further........Great,scary vision of a future I hope we’ll never see-the soundtrack is quite enough, thank you! tuning (L to H): C# F# B E G# C# personnel: Geb-d Snah-g’s,lead voc Bent-b,lead voc Death prod-organ,loops & noises words:P.Kantner & M.Balin music: P.Kantner & M.Balin VISCOUNT GRISNAH instrumental First instrumental on a Psycho-release. Recorded through the bathroom wall- you can even hear the toilet running! Not too happy with the original, this re-make I still think is better. As Part III of the «Pooneil-cycle» it works amazingly well, but was probably too quietly intense for a lot of people........... tuning (L to H): ? personnel: Bent-voc L.Lien-Viscount organ words: Sæther music: Sæther
