Mountain EP

MOUNTAIN

See Demon Box for lyrics/info

Due to space considerations,we had to take some
songs off the cd version of D.B. This was one of them,
but since it -at that time-was a very important song
in our live set and we all really liked it,we decided to
make it the focus of our next release.Of course a 12
minute prog-rock-monster like this didn’t get much air-play
( if any ),so if it was a «comercially sane» thing to do,I don’t
know. But it set the standard for future «small» Psycho releases:
5 songs,a cover and/or a re-make,some weirdness,and between
20 and 30 minutes of the motorpsychodelic experience.
Besides: it’s probably the heaviest, most psychotic thing we’ve
ever put out.........

FLESH HARROWER

Nothing is nothing
and nothing is smaller
smaller is boring
and boring grows taller
nothing through nothing
and nothing through you
the sum is the same
there’s still nothing to do

THE HOUSE AT POONEIL CORNERS

Apocalyptic Jefferson Airplane classic from their
1968 masterpiece «Crown of Creation» .
Now,the original was pretty cataclysmic,but I think
we took it even further........Great,scary vision of a
future I hope we’ll never see-the soundtrack is quite enough, thank you!

VISCOUNT GRISNAH

instrumental

First instrumental on a Psycho-release.
Recorded through the bathroom wall-
you can even hear the toilet running!
Ridiculous title that had nothing whatsoever
to do with that church-burning moron.

SISTER CONFUSION

See Soothe for lyrics

Resigned version («confused version») of Soothe song.
Not too happy with the original, this re-make I still think
is better. As Part III of the «Pooneil-cycle» it works amazingly
well, but was probably too quietly intense for a lot of people...........
