Kein Scheiß, das ist der Titel. Und was für einer. Zur Erklärung: Roadwork ist eine Serie, die unregelmäßig Live-Aufnahmen von Norwegens Ausnahmeband veröffentlichen wird. Auf weitere Titeleskapaden dürfen wir uns jetzt schon freuen.
     Viel zu sagen gibt es nicht. Denn wenn Motorpsycho für etwas bekannt geworden sind, neben großartigem Artwork und prima Schallplatten, dann sind es ihre Live-Qualitäten. Aber die Rückseite der CD warnt im Vorfeld. »We will stress that if you are not familar with the band's »proper« releases, you would be well advised to check some of that out before you go for this stuff. Since some of the equipment used in the recording of this album is below usual Motorpsycho-standards, and since the dB-level this was recorded at and the words »high fidelity« are not compatible - a thourough knowledge of the band's output is recommended for maximum immersion value.«
     Dem ist kaum etwas hinzuzufügen, außer der Tatsache, daß eben genau die Fans hier erstmals in ein Live-Déja-Vu gebeamt werden. Neu-Interessierte schließen die Augen und wachen am nächsten Morgen auf, nicht wissend, daß sie über Nacht bereits den gesamten Backkatalog via Internet bestellt haben. Oder so.
