Et voilà : een meer dan exquise guitaar-triplebill met drie vooraanstaande groepen : headliner is het Noorse MOTORPSYCHO (naar eigen zeggen nog steeds 'an experimental rock / pop / metal / prog-band'), support is het van eigen bodem afkomstige GORESLUT (het gezelschap rond RUDY 'Dead Man Ray' TROUVE). En deze laatsten staan nog steeds garant voor korzelige lo-fi gitaarmuziek stijl Sonic Youth en – jawel – Motorpsycho. Verwacht alvast ook een nieuw GORESLUT album ('Girl + Turtles' op Heavenhotel) in september. Als uitsmijter die avond onder de noemer 'a late night show with ...' krijgt u het Japanse noisecore gezelschap MELT-BANANA voorgeschoteld. Op hun aktief oa. twee albums met STEVE ALBINI (Shellac, Big Black) achter de knoppen. Werkten verder mee aan een live-project met JOHN ZORN (die bovendien een album op zijn eigenste TZADIK-label uitbracht) en tourden bovendien als support van SLIPKNOT, SMOG en JIM O' ROURKE.

Om de avond tenslotte perfect op te warmen (18.30 hrs !!!) is er The Screening of RUSS MEYER'S 'Motor Psycho', een film uit '65 van deze 'grote borsten'-koning in de ABClub. De link met MOTORPSYCHO vraagt u zich af ? Wel, 'In autumn 1989 we saw 'Motorpsycho' written on the wall of a sleazy movie theater in London. There was trilogy of director RUSS MEYER. The first film was 'Faster Pussycat Kill Kill'. The second was named 'Mudhoney'. The third was 'Motorpsycho'. -Let's call ourselves Motorpsycho, we said. We'll never be as bad as Faster Pussycat, but we might be as good as Mudhoney someday.'
