Ståle used to work at Folken back in the days (90s). He was (is?) a friend of the band, and has always got an old song dedicated to him at Folken since then Nowadays he is the singer of the stoner rock band Kal-El, he still lives in Stavanger, and I saw him on the balcony on Saturday
It is not StÃ¥le Solem, Vegard…
@Devotional: My friend filmed those two nights, so look out on Youtube…
Tickets sold, Gullible returned
Gullible
Psychotzar
Bartok
Promise
Ãœberwagner/Pilgrim
Crucible
Ship Of Fools
Greener
The Other Fool
Alchemyst
Tower
Lux Aeterna
Same as in Haugesund, they didn't walk off stage before the two encores.
Approx 2h20min
Correct setlist:
Psychotzar
Bartok
Promise
Triggerman
Cuckoo
Crucible
Pacific Sonata
Ãœberwagner/Pilgrim
Alchemyst
Lux Aeterna
Greener
The Other Fool
The Tower
I think the songs until Lux were played as written on the setlist (my memory fooled me a bit), then they chose to change the order, mainly because they didn't want to walk off stage through the crowd and come back again. That's why the last three songs were not as the setlist says
Anyone in need of tickets to the first Bergen show? Next Thursday that is!
See you in Bergen, Coinman
Except for the very drunk guy shouting for 577 the whole gig, Anders?
Welcome on board, TrustMe.
We might meet in Stavanger, then
Folken is a classic venue for an MP show, good choice!
What is better than a good old MP discussion?
What a magnificent answer, Punj Lizard
We are indeed lucky to have found this band, either recently or back then.
Keep up the good work!
After first listen, this record is quite confusing. They seem to have put a lot of different styles, sounds, bits and pieces into these three "songs". I am pretty sure this is a grower. I just hope I will grow with it and come out on the right side of the unicorn fence.
