Whatever one thinks of Billy Corgan and his music: here's a VERY good read with him making some VERY good – I'd even say IMPORTANT – remarks about the state of music reception, peer pressure and mostly about the disputable terms and criterias of valuation put forth by some people.

Yes. I really like their INSTARMENTAL album. Oscillator Train! 500 Miles Daytona! Amazingly epic before everything was labelled "epic". No one made music like that around here. I've seen them a couple of times back then. But were they on hiatus for a time? Or did silly me simply forget about them…. Anyway they seem to be back and strong.

i bought my dearly beloved v-twin tube pre amp straight from a salesman's hands in 1993 because he played that riff to me to show what the pedal was all about.
