@Jero : thanks. Maybe nothing really new for hardcore psychonauts but like you said I made it in the hope of converting newbies as well. I tried to make something that is timeless and you dont need to know a lot of info to enjoy the film. in that sense its about the creative process in general as well. x bernie

nice trainspotting…but I am hugely confused by this Begynnelser thing…its great but it seems there are different versions ? For instance I do not have this song on my (digital) version of the record. Does anyone know if the 2 x 10 inch is really all the music from the play ? I hate missing out on stuff :-)

hey suntripper…thanks so much that's very kind of you. The internet is a weird thing. I spend so much of my time in solitude behind my computer bubble editing away and then one day you realize a lot of people watch the results…which is really a cool thing ! I have to admit I used to take a lot for granted as well on the internet but now since I've experienced this warm feedback I make a lot more effort to thank other people as well who put stuff up that brings me joy. It's also funny that I started doing this purely for selfish reasons because I wanted to re-watch shows in the privacy of my own home with my cat on the sofa and really delve into the details of the playing. Then it just got out of hand and I couldn't stop doing it. Im also really happy with the website…its a really cool place to go to I think. Otherwise all this stuff would just lie on hard disk in my attic :-) anyway glad you enjoy it thats what its there for x bernie

hey guys, dvds are so 2010 :-)…just hook your computer up to a big screen and speakers like i do with a simple HDMI connection :-) the secret to the audio of my vids is indeed a mix between mixing desk recordings and some extra mics. I assure you mixing desk recording alone are unlistenable (very unmotorpsychodelic). The key to understanding their live sound is they like to have the onslaught come from their amps on stage. So in the PA there is not much bass or guitar…just drums and vocals mainly. So what i did the last couple of years is put 2 mics on stage to get the full blast of Bents bass and Snahs guitar. The drums and vocals I blend in from the mixing board recordings…sometimes the balance works, sometimes not. But LEUVEN, BRAINE and DEN HAAG were pretty good mix wise…You gotta be a little lucky as well :-) thanks for the kind words everyone…the rest of the Den Haag show should be up next week (Im at my upload limit again…damn these long songs)
