The main riff of The Fall Of Troy reminds me a bit of the Black Sabbath classic Lord Of This World. Great track nonetheless, and possibly my personal favorite on the album.
With the exception of Ritual, which I find a bit boring, the album is great! I can also hear echoes of Hallucifuge (live version) in Antics
March 10, 2013 at 21:12 #23627ah yes Lord of this World, absolutely.
If the eggplant will be as good as this one, I'll be happy.
March 19, 2013 at 12:31 #23628still listening to this almost every day. it's the perfect thing to do while waiting for the eggplants. any psychonaut not buying this???

March 19, 2013 at 12:36 #23629wooooo Ritual, I love it! This is the Zappa I like and I usually don't really do so. I'm only a leettle tiny bit not so thrilled by the guitar noodling jam of Red Eye. But you stoners should love that one, too.

October 7, 2013 at 20:00 #23646Can't wait for the GG-gigs in Norway this week!
Every psychonaut in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim should go see them if they can.
Will be great!
October 8, 2013 at 13:45 #23647I hope someone will record one of the shows…
October 9, 2013 at 09:12 #23648Great gig in Oslo last night! Surprisingly tight and energetic considering they only had one day of practice before the gig. Songs played:
Intro Theme
The Fall Of Troy
Red Eye
Tachyon
> (long psychedelic segue)Ritual
Clandestine
Antics
New Song(?) (quite a slow & sludgy one)
October 9, 2013 at 18:46 #23649No big surprises in that set list

Any idea how long the concert lasted? Did they stretch it out on any of the tunes?
October 9, 2013 at 20:12 #23650Concert lasted just over an hour. The only severely stretched out was that Tachyon/Ritual segue. The other tunes were mostly "by the book" if that term applies
October 11, 2013 at 22:15 #23651Blæst – The set list

Frekkin hilarious concert!
October 12, 2013 at 14:51 #23652Awesome gig in Trondheim.
Bent and Mattis Kleppen (who plays with Kenneth and Ingrid Helene HÃ¥vik in "Resjemheia") were at the show.
