Oh yeah! Jello is one of my all time heroes.
January 29, 2024 at 12:02 #42527Most likely a physical release of this cover they did two drummers ago in 2009? Haven’t heard this one before, but it sounds pretty good!
January 29, 2024 at 16:30 #42528It was the opener on the double LP ‘All Sewn Up – A Tribute To Patrik Fitzgerald’. A higly receommendable and very physical release from 2009.

January 29, 2024 at 17:17 #42529Haha alright, a physical 7″ of only this song! ;) Might need to get a jukebox to store all those recent 7″ singles!
January 30, 2024 at 22:08 #42535Live-version but with Atilla unstead of Jello
January 30, 2024 at 22:20 #42536January 30, 2024 at 22:20 #42537January 31, 2024 at 10:46 #42538So it’s the original on side A and the cover on side B?
edi: aah nvm, found it already:
“Side A features a new recording of the song from 2021, while on side B the track covered by the Norwegian rock group, Motopsycho with a bit of help from the legendary Jello Biafra. “- This reply was modified 9 months, 3 weeks ago by crosskip.

January 31, 2024 at 19:34 #42541February 1, 2024 at 00:37 #42542“2 drummers ago” tickled me too. Sounds a bit ‘Spinal Tap’. (Sequel coming soon!)
February 15, 2024 at 10:39 #42553Saw on Instagram that the band now has their own international web store, based in Netherlands, where this single is available.
February 15, 2024 at 20:53 #42555Yes, Motorpsycho and Stickman parted ways and Motorpsycho and Rune Gramofon will not work together, either. I wanted to create a new topic but after I tried to upload I failed.
February 15, 2024 at 20:55 #42557This is what I wanted to start with a new topic. It is a “thank you” to Stickman and all the best wishes for Rolf and Jeannette.
“The Stickman Records label was founded for the purpose of releasing and promoting Motorpsycho’s music.
History – STICKMAN RECORDS (stickman-records.com).
The first release was the „Wearing Yr Smell“ EP (catalog number Psychobabble 001), followed by the „Timothy’s Monster“ album (catalog number Psychobabble 002). The latest album „Jay!“ was catalog number Psychobabble 132 and the last release on Stickman Records. There will be no more Motorpsycho releases on Stickman Records. You can only buy items which are still in stock but there will no more new releases and no repressings in the future.
The new record company is NFGS.The distribution outside Norway will be handled by We Ship Vinyl (based in Amsterdam).
It is time to say THANKS to Stickman Records and especially Jeannette and Rolf who run the label for all the wonderful releases and promoting some Stickman Records concerts.
I hope that you can continue in releasing music though the main attraction has left the label. To Motorpsycho: I am sure that you had good reasons to release future releases via a different label. I hope that you will still have the freedom to release your own releases like tour singles.”
