Yo!
2 hours ago Motorpsycho played a secret, unannounced gig at the Eat The Rich festival at Svartlamon!
There's been rumours circulating for a week or so, and they turned out to be true!
It was awesome, Motorpsycho playing on a small stage in a backyard on Svartlamon!
Setlist:
Year Zero
Whole Lotta Diana ->
Nothing To Say
Cornucopia
Greener ->
Hogwash ->
(Halleluwah?) ->
Into The sun
The One Who Went Away ->
You Lied
I'll write more later

August 27, 2011 at 11:32 #20109Easily top ten, probably top five!
Feelgood vibes like never before, laughing and dancing and jumping around on that tiny stage (which of course is ground zero for MP).
And save for a few mistakes forgotten and forgiven, tight as a gnat's twat!
I loved every minute of it, and I hope one or more of those handheld recorders belongs to a sharing individual.
There were some moments last night I wouldn't mind hearing over: Snah in Guitar God Mode, Kenneth is a mutant, and Bent…
Nothing to Say made me cry.
In ten years, ten thousand people will claim they were there.
August 27, 2011 at 11:36 #20110I did not recognize the song in the middle of Hogwash.
Anybody ID that?

Most likely "Halleluwah", or?
August 27, 2011 at 15:46 #20112Hm. Possibly.
I don't know it and Rolf doesn't look certain…

The guitar sound during that part was devine.
August 27, 2011 at 15:55 #20113Sound check:

If it looks familiar, you'll find the same back yard on one or two of the live clips on Haircuts, and it's the starting and ending point for the Wearing Yr Smell video.
They did a gig here as Tussler as well.
I talked briefly with Gebhardt after the gig, and he was very impressed. Energy, drive, joy and precision. Everybody happy. The rest of the night was cool as well, although I think the band that went on after MP might as well have been named "Hopp etter Wirkola".
August 30, 2011 at 20:42 #20114It was Halleluwah inside Hogwash.
And yeah, recording(s) will be shared :MPD:
