      —-

      Upstairs/Downstairs intro only*

      Superstooge

      app. 2 hours 40 min.

Upstairs/Downstairs was on the setlist but after the intro Bent had problems with tuning his guitar. He changed to bass and Superstooge was played instead.

If you compare Malmö and the following concert in Copenhagen you will notice that only one song (The United Debased) was played on both shows. 10 different songs were played in Copenhagen compared to Malmö!

        Copenhagen was INCREDIBLE!

Malmö and Copenhagen were like night and day. While Malmö was maybe a 4/10, Copenhagen was 9/10. A whole new setlist, only one repetition from the night before.

Seriously groovy Bonny Lee. Jammed out psychodelic set, and I got Noxed!

Superstooge played instead of Up/down because of problem with the tuning of Bent's guitar.

Snah and Tomas jammed around the chords and melody before Bent gave up, changed to bass, and suggested Superstooge because it's in the same tuning. Snah tore right into it, and what an eruption of a version!

Have a great tour all you lucky ones out there! Remember to report and record, thanks.

This is a Setlist I'd take immediately on the upcoming dates – what an opening w. Bonny & Satan, plus lots of new material yet unseen over here; and NOX of course: seriously getting excited – personal tour starts in Hannover on Tuesday :STG:

            Wow!

            The Crucible

            {snip}

            In Every Dream Home

            At Empire's End

            N.O.X.

That's 4 favorite tracks (almost in a row) from the last 4 records :-)

Can't be any better than that. We need Roadwords from this tour, that's for sure.

Yesss! SO much better than Malmö the night before! Mp really proved why they are the best band in the world! Actually only one of my "absolute favorites", that's "NOX", but very strong stuff all the way through, with the exception of "Like chrome", which I'm not a huge fan of, and despite being the closer of the set it actually wasn't the anticlimax one might think – I was surprisingly fine with it. This show was a body function test: no time to pee or get something to drink, haha!

In parts pretty messy "NOX", with some miscommunication onstage leading to Reine getting ahead of the other guys for a moment, but that didn't ruin it for me – quite the opposite, actually! I love this kind of tension and I get sort of nervous – in a good way. Excitement, they say. Like the pros they are everyone soon was back on track, and towards the end Tomas gave beautiful pondus to the chaos by speeding things up. Maximum brilliance!

Usually not a fave of mine, but "Superstooge" was awesome! Relatively short and to the point, I'd say, with a cool noise part after the first chorus (if memory serves me right).

I'm so happy that the two shows I witnessed came in this order, and not the opposite :) Such a great trip!

Unfortunately I'm no ThorEgil, but anyway…
