So lucky that I randomly came across this band music video on youtube. Im in complete love with there sound, So free w/o boundaires. I hear so many differnt music genres meshed into one its great. Its a shame i cant get any of their vinyls at my local store.
July 24, 2012 at 22:21 #22577You can get a lot of their vinyl-releases via the european ebay-sites. The german one, for instance: http://tinyurl.com/cr9w8kl
You may also want to try GEMM: http://tinyurl.com/c9k6c9t

July 25, 2012 at 02:58 #22578thanks Knoot. will definitely look into that euro ebay site.
I think one of the reason Im in love with this band so much is b/c i never heard of them before, nor any of my friends and its just like what we listen to in America.
The fact of finding a new foreign artist (to me) is just jaw dropping.
and i dont know where to find other new bands with this freedom, improv music style playing.
So if anyone has any other similar bands they would like to turn me on to, Please leave me a list or name a band you like.
— Motorpsycho come play USA. — You'll do great here.
July 25, 2012 at 08:26 #22579I'm not sure if Motorpsycho have any plans for a US tour. Sure, they've been getting some attention lately (like David Fricke giving a really positive review of their latest album), but they've stated that logistically it's hard to put together such a tour.
The last time they toured the US was in 2008 on the Little Lucid Moments tour (and even then they only played 3 cities, Columbus, Louisville and Chicago)
But nice to get new fans aboard! Motorpsycho has a huge & diverse discography that's just waiting there to be indulged in
Their current distributor in US is Forced Exposure. And they sell the vinyl editions as well (though I haven't checked the prices).
July 25, 2012 at 11:25 #22580Welcome on board! Stickman records is a fine (+ most official) source as well of course:
July 25, 2012 at 13:53 #22581And you're always welcome to come over to Europe to see them. I'm sure someone will take you under their wing:)

July 26, 2012 at 06:16 #22584Yeah all the Vinlys I looked at were Real expensive
and Steresofa, I did listen to Heavy Metal Fruit on youtube loved it its great. After listing to The Death Defying Unicorn I had to buy it that cd trips me right out.
and Supernat, thanks for the Read, Will look into that. when I get back from my vacation in 2weeks No tv no computers, out in the wood up in the mountains.
July 26, 2012 at 10:23 #22585Quote:out in the wood up in the mountainswooooh have fun. i love doin that. where in the US do you live?
There has been quite some dispute about the Unicorn here, since it is a bit of an odd album. One of many, though. I find it amazing. I'm not so keen with Heavy Metal Fruit. More with (as most fans) Timothy's Monster and Trust Us. Also Little Lucid Moments is one of my top 3.
July 26, 2012 at 16:23 #22586Welcome to the show . Just to let you know , another recommended album for hardrock (Heavy Metall iz a poze , hardt rock iz a laifschteil (lifestyle)) anti-prog Psychonauts is DEMON BOX , for me THE ULTIMATE MOTHER OF EVIL and the only real path to their musical universe .
July 28, 2012 at 01:39 #22587Im living in Baltimore, Maryland. I agree with you Snaut but thats why i like the album I love how its an odd and atypical . You guys should listen to a band from my hometown that happen to lived only 20mins away from me. Animal Collective, you could go on youtube, Itunes, or where ever you get music from. My favorite albums are Strawberry Jam , Merriweather Post Pavilion, ODDSAC is a pretty psychcdelic music video from the band that runs a little over a hour. Its another weird thing. most ppl wont enjoy unless you like that sorta stuff
July 28, 2012 at 08:39 #22588Oh there are a few people on here who do love Animal Collective, me for sure and I know minimum one more (living in Berlin They are the real innovators of handmade modern music, a whole universe themselves! Looking forward to seing them over here in November and their new album as well Cool they're coming from next door to you!
July 28, 2012 at 09:51 #22589hehe I know Animal Collective and I don't like them at all.
