A Song For Everyone: LISTED BUT NOT PLAYED
Rock Bottom (setlist says “RB”)
2 hours, many drunken and talkative people, not the perfect audience
What does A.T.P. mean? I haven’t found out so far.
All Tomorrow’s Parties by Velvet Underground
And regarding Black As Night, could it be this one?
Frost – Black As Night
Yes! This is the one! I remember the Whole Lotta Love-esque riff from the gig in Halden. Well done, digging that one up!
got the setlist. seems right. can’t find out how to post the picture.
not very good audience, yes. But good show. Olaf did a good job. A few tunes I’ve never heard before.
Highpoints:
Mad Sun, Sentinels, Dædalus, My Best Friend___ and everyone after that.
Utd. Debased; tight, well done with only 3 on stage. what a rocktune.
can’t wait for Oslo, next weekend.
I forgot to mention that only a trio played, Reine was absent. I hope he will return. There is more variety in live shows with Reine.
A.T.P – the lyrics don’t match that V:U. song…
Reine played with Dungen in England the next day, so it’s very realistic he’ll return for the other Norwegian dates :)
I was at the concert and recognized the song. I also filmed part of it, and the lyrics on my recording are exactly the same as the song by VU
“from who knows where
To all tomorrow’s parties
And where will she go and what shall she do
When midnight comes around
She’ll turn once more to Sunday’s clown
And cry behind the door”
If the rest doesn’t match, it’s that song anyway with alternat/wrong lyrics.
Great fun show. Yes the crowd talked a bit to much but the vibe was good. It was like the old days with less prog jamming and more songs.
Hopefuly Rockefeller will have some of the same vibe but more jamming
