Hoowiie… Nice one it was.
To be honest…. I wasn’t sure what to expect tonight. New drummer, first real club got gig since tomas left (for me at least). I must say it was a bliss. Kill Devil Hills, Alchemist, All is Loneliness… My favs tonight. Since i first listened to Alchemist on RW4 i always wanted to experience it in concert for myself. It was beautiful. I shouted out loud at the exact moment i always imagined i’d do. Haha such a funny thing. Loved it. Hope for some decent recordings.

Nice one. The guys seemed to have a good time on stage, I liked the setlist and the sound was great as well. Good to be back at Conne Island after a few years.

Yesterday was a “hard rocking” show, not much space/psych parts. Unfortunately no Kobaia/The Otherness/The Hornet which were played in Aschaffenburg…

About the new line-up: All four members are placed in one line, even the drum kit is in front of the stage and not in the back. Snah and Reine switched places. Snah and Bent are on the same side. Stian has eye contact with Snah and Bent all the time and he enjoys playing with Bent/Snah/Reine very much. He was constantly smiling for 2,5 hours. He identifies with the music!

Reine is responsible for guitar solos and Snah played (mostly) rhythm guitar. As far as I remember this is new, too. Of course, Snah is playing a solo when Reine plays keyboards.

Conne Island is always a great venue for Motorpsycho! There were 500 tickets sold in advance but tickets were still available on the door. The venue was full but not overcrowded, a nice atmosphere after a hiatus of seven years in this venue (the last show on October 16th 2019).

Great to see they’re back to turning setlists around each night, if I’m not mistaken only Gaia is repeated from the other night. This is exactly what I hoped for with the new drummer. Hope they keep this up for the next “proper” tour.
