So good that I made it my mission to track down all of their releases a few years ago
(7 inches and stuff).
BTW, I pre-ordered the Deluxe Version of the new album on their site, and it looks to be a few still available. Nice package at a good price!
Oh, and if you don’t yet have the first album…?
August 14, 2010 at 11:37 #18063Ah nice. I got the first album. I also highly recommend Greg Edwards’ former band Failure. There he worked with Ken Andrews, who himself played in Year of the Rabbit after their split.
he, if I wouldn’t know better, some snippets sounds a bit Nickelbackey. But of course they’re nothing like them.
Edwards, Andrews and Paul d’Amour (bassist in Tool on their first 2 albums) also made one album as The Replicants, on which they only played covers from songs by the Floyd, McCartney, Neil Young, Gary Numan, The Cars, TV Personalities, Syd Barrett and others. Extremely superb. And I consider Andrews as one of the best singers ever. Maynard J Keenan guest sings the McCartney track Silly Love Songs, though. If you find it, buy it.
