this is going to be great!!!
May 15, 2011 at 07:27 #19780Do they play together, or one after another? I think the latter… Otherwise it would be pretty thrilling
May 15, 2011 at 11:30 #19781It will be separate gigs. Unless both bands expresses a wish to collaborate, in which case Kongsberg Jazzfestival would be happy to oblige.

Primus + Motorpycho
Tubaloon- They have worked with include Jane's Addiction, U2, Metallica, The Police, Rage Agains The Machine, this year playing on PRIMUS Tubaloon in double concert with MP!
Saturday. 19:00Edit | Priskalkulator Primus to Norway! Primus to KONGSBERG! Tom Waits' favorite bands, band behind the South Park theme song, the only band in the world that is its own category on Allmusicguide, Ojojoj… but they have of course yet another ace up in the sleeve – and when we do not think Pork Soda, Les Claypool, Mule Variations, first visit to Norway on 14 Ã¥r, songs on Rock Band / Guitar Hero or worked with Jane's Addiction, U2, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, The Police, Henry Rollins, A Perfect Circle, Wolfmother, Gogol Bordello, (sorry but the list is literally endless) – In, they are in fact pregnant with new album, First, over 10 Ã¥r. Which presumably yearsns that all guitarist curriculum needs to be rewritten. Again. As we announced this year to run double concerts Tubaloon, and this means that not only is Primus you will hear about you show up at Church Square on Saturday but also Motorpsycho! After 20 years this band still sounds fresh, innovative and surprising variety. Saturday night at Tubaloon is a grand party for absolutely all lovers of quality rock with jazz references.
May 15, 2011 at 15:57 #19783I'm really looking forward to this! Primus was one of the first rockbands I got into when I was a kid. "Suck on this!" "Pork Soda" and "Sailing the seas of cheese" are great albums, but I lost interest in the band after "Pork Soda" and stopped following their releases after that.
But after I heard they were playing this show, I've been listening to them again, and I think we're in for one hell of a night! Check out their live-dvd "Hallucino-genetics" from their 2004-tour if you haven't seen it. They have a tendency to go a bit jammy too it seems..
