Behold! The four mighty gods of space descended upon earth and came forth in Verkstedhallen to touch all psychonauts.
A great concert. My favourites – Hell and Loneliness.
Bent said that Stay Young will be released on a split single with Sugarfoot in a few weeks. Record Store Day?
March 23, 2014 at 00:45 #26248So the Trondheim-gig was a blast! I

Entropy
The acoustic part was nice, but also very similiar to the acoustic setlist from the gig at byscenen in december last year.
-All the new songs were amazing, and the singing has never been better!
-Upstairs-Downstairs had a really cool "jammy" part at the end!
-No Evil really took me by surprise, and I smiled through the whole thing, and then came Hey Jane… Awesome!
-Hell was long (35min), but great, huge, epic etc…
-Hyena was another surprise I really enjoyed.
-But Plan #1 was probably the best song I`ve ever heard them play live! Bent hitting those high notes like a fucking god!!
-All Is Loneliness with a little choir-part at the end, and when I was almost outside I heard the Entropy bassline and had to run back in!
-Overall pretty good sound, and the guys did a great job, though I sometimes felt that Kenneth was really working not to increase the tempo, but made them slow down a bit too much sometimes, like Hey Jane, where the tempo at the end kept the energy back.
Overall a great 11th show for me 6/6

March 23, 2014 at 01:01 #26250kill some day was in there?
I wonder if hogwash can be included inside hell in some clever way.
March 23, 2014 at 01:08 #26251How could I forget?
I don`t think there were any Hogwash there!
March 23, 2014 at 01:26 #26252Here is the setlist i submitted at setlist.fm. I didn't recognize "The Promise" and "Ghost", but I clearly remember Snah screaming "who ever said it was easy out there" (from "On a Plate").
March 23, 2014 at 02:49 #26253My mind was in an alternate universe today, and I forgot that the gig was today! Yeah, that's embarassing! I blame it on night shift work. Because of this I didn't record the gig. I hope someone else did!
Anywho, I arrived somewhere around Hell part 6. The next song was The Afterglow, and it was incredibly beautiful. I have a personal connection to that song, so I'm biased. Experiencing that song live was worth the ticket alone for me!
Hyena was awesome and just FUN!
Plan #1 was, uhm, leg-shattering. Tears. Jesus mother of christ.
Encore: Kvæstor was fun, The magic and the wonder I find boring, so I don't understand why they chose it as an encore, but All is loneliness made it good again. Gigantically awesome version! Fantastic jam to end it, and then one more encore (awesome audience) – Entropy! A wonderful song and I can't stop humming it.

March 31, 2014 at 19:19 #26260"Proper" recording: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=487318
April 1, 2014 at 18:57 #26261And very proper recording indeed! Didn't know my stereo was capable of reproducing the sound of those Tauruses.
I might want to do some remastering of the sound on my video snippets.
