Just heard it…
Slightly (very) overwhelmed! WOW! The perfect MP-album? Yes!
SNAH=GOD, but he sure looks like Jesus.
January 15, 2010 at 19:51 #14899Huh…i must say after my first proper listen, that i’m actually a little dissapointed. Don’t know what it is, but i find myself not that eager to press play for another round as i’ve been with the 2-3 previous albums….But i guess/hope it needs time to grow
January 15, 2010 at 19:55 #14900Well, today I got the CD from Rune Grammofon. I’ve just listened to the album twice, lying in my bed, smiling from start to end. This album is just stunning!! Simply perfection! And “Gullible’S Travails” is definitely one of the best songs I’ve ever heard! Now I’m gonna listen to it constantly the next days/weeks. Can’t imagine how huge this album will grow after some more listenings. Just from the first to the second listening it grew a lot on me. Heavy Metal Fruit is definitely one of the best Motorpsycho albums in my point of view!
January 15, 2010 at 20:09 #14901I don’t have words.. Gullible’s Travails actually made me tear up. Holy shit this is a monster of a song, from the noise intro to the synths. Jesus christ. And I’ve only listened to GT. Still five more songs to go.
Little Lucid Moments and Child of the Future, go to bed, please. Heavy Metal Fruit is in town
January 15, 2010 at 20:19 #14902Still waiting behind my mailbox… hopefully it will arrive over the next days… can’t wait if I read these comments.
January 15, 2010 at 21:01 #14903Stunning!!! Fantastic!!! Speechless!!!
January 15, 2010 at 21:20 #14904yeah, it´s really a great album!! much much better than COTF…! and even better than LLM?
mh…hard to compare….they are too differnt imo. but on HMF Snah has one of the best guitar sounds he ever had!
January 15, 2010 at 21:53 #14905yeah Ivan! The guitar sound.. OH MY GOD…
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! (And I am just only half in Starhammer!)
January 16, 2010 at 00:31 #14906yes hmf is a masterpiece!
for me one of the best mp albums ever.
snah is god, but bent, too. what a bass sometimes, what vocals from him
hey and from this album on, I’m a real kenneth fan, too.
what songs on this album!!!
not only gullible’s! but this is indeed one of the best mp songs ever!
but all other songs are great.
love the new arrengement of close your eyes! even it could be some minutes longer.
I’m very happy.
looking forward to the concerts.
January 16, 2010 at 00:56 #14907hi all,
i totally agree with you. this is just again an incredible peace of music. the feeling to sit down for the first listen at the day of release. don’t know how to describe. it touches my heart and my soul like their songs always do. this time its just even more perfect. the sound, the energy, rhythm and vocals. with the ending of gullible’s in my ears i go to bed. tomorrow is the second day of listening and usually its just even better than the first.
good night
January 16, 2010 at 10:21 #14908GBD, I’ve had the same problem since LTEC; they had to grow on me. But LLM and COTF never did.
This is their best since Phanerothyme, but not their best ever. Trust Us, Blissard and AADAP can’t be topped, ever….
January 16, 2010 at 11:02 #14909@ Mark
Best since Ph.. Seriously..? For me Gullible’s Travails alone does topp all those albums . TM is the one who will be hard to ever push down from the throne.
January 16, 2010 at 11:48 #14910Guess what the postman had for me today?
Lots of listening to ensue…
January 16, 2010 at 11:52 #14911Fy fan! FørstelÃ¥ta utløste tÃ¥rer. SÃ¥ rÃ¥tt…
