Barcelona setlist (according to a scanned setlist on Facebook, thx to Albert)
Nevermind, correct setlist posted just below…
April 15, 2011 at 08:17 #19601It is a bit of a tourist trap, but a nice one. Well, 18 years ago it was…
April 15, 2011 at 10:01 #19602It appears they actually changed the setlist:
14.04.2011 – La Ovella Negra (Megataverna Del Poble Nou), Barcelona, Spain
Bent, Snah & Kenneth / ca. 130 min / Attendance: ca. 80-150
Year Zero
Neanderthal
Go To California
Whole Lotta Diana
Starhammer >
The Wheel >
Starhammer
On A Plate
Close Your Eyes
Hogwash
Hallucifuge
Nothing To Say
Mountain
—
You lied >
Black To Comm
Notes: Motorpsycho's second concert in Barcelona after debuting in the city on 18.04.2002. This concert was originally scheduled for Rocksound but was moved to a new location on the day of the show due to technical problems. While the new venue is a "megataverna" aimed for a tourist crowd the band plays in a small cellar with an okay sound. There are some travelling psychonauts from Holland, Italy and Norway in the crowd. There was no backstage so the band is hanging out in the concert room before and after the show. They change the actual setlist: The encores "Nothing To Say " and "Mountain" are being played at the end of the main set and they omit "All is loneliness". The actual encores "You lied" and "Black to comm" are not on the setlist. This show rocks like hell!
Thanks to Joep Schroers from Holland for the update!
April 15, 2011 at 11:11 #19603April 16, 2011 at 13:34 #19604Murcia setlist, according to setlist-scan on Facebook (thx to Antonio):
– Hogwash
– On A Plate
– Riding The Tiger
– Starhammer —> The Wheel —> Starhammer
– Coalmine Pony
– Neanderthal
– You Lied
– Sparks
– High Time
– Hallucifuge
– Go To California
– Mountain
– Nothing To Say
NOTE: The order of the encores is uncertain, because there were multiple encore-choices listed on the setlist (Black 2 Comm and Diana were also listed, but apparently omitted)
April 16, 2011 at 13:47 #19605Yeah, here is the setlist picture, quite a sweet one:

April 17, 2011 at 20:58 #19607HOLY SHIT, awesomeness! The Motorpsycho power rock trio on a bare bones backline spacing away on "Hogwash" in Madrid:
April 17, 2011 at 20:59 #19608-edited for setlist correction; thanks otherdemon!
I will try and do my best to remember the setlist of the show in Madrid – it was a nice opportunity for a weekend trip. MP should really open a travel agency…. The show took place at the "Sala el Sol", a nice loungey cellar club right in the heart of Madrid. Doors opened around 21:30, support act was a band called Moongardening Inc., which played for I think about 35 min and their moody music fit quite well, although it was not entirely my cup of tea.
MP played somewhere between two and two and a half hours (as with the setlist, I did not take any detailed notes). The band was in a good mood and towards the end of the set sometimes seemed to be genuinely surprised by the good reception. Probably around 150 people, which filled the club quite nicely, but it was not sold out. Intriguingly, no merch stand.
Setlist as follows. Running order is certainly not fully correct, hope I did not forget anything:
All is loneliness
Go to California
Whole lotta Diana
Starhammer > The Wheel > Starhammer
No evil
Hey Jane
Greener
Leslie's Vest
New Song (no title mentioned, probably Neanderthal)
Riding the tiger
You lied > Hallucifuge
Mountain
Nothing to say
Hogwash
April 17, 2011 at 22:31 #19609Hi, thanks for the setlist. I think the old song from 1991 with Snah on vocals actually is called On A Plate or Leslie's Vest. Was it this one they played? Check out a Youtube-video of it here.
Good to see the band got a good reception
April 18, 2011 at 05:37 #19610That's the one – thanks otherdemon! I corrected my earlier post accordingly.
April 18, 2011 at 05:48 #19611Hi to all the psychonauts,
all that you say Ever9 is right, band got a good reception, more or less 150 people but all interested to the show, the venue was small but with a good acoustic.
At the end of the concert i have talked with Bent for a couple of minutes, the setlist should be:
All is loneliness
Go to California
Whole lotta Diana
Starhammer/the Wheel/Starhammer
No evil
Hey Jane
Greener
Neanderthal
91' song (i think Leslie's vest)
Riding the tiger (amazing version!)
You lied
Hallucifuge
Mountain
Nothing to say
Hogwash (w/ Halleluwah)
2h 13m for a fantastic night.
Audio (if quality is good!)and photos will follow in the next days.

April 18, 2011 at 06:42 #19612Quote:Audio (if quality is good!)and photos will follow in the next days.Does this mean that the show was recorded? MP recordings are rare nowadays after Anders has left the taping business (though he still sees many shows)…
April 18, 2011 at 08:27 #19613So they played "On a plate" ("Leslie's vest") BEFORE "Neanderthal"? Because the setlist has it the other way around and with a segue between the two.
