Ole Paus is a pretty good ac. guitar player. So i would think it's him. Can't say for sure though
@Punj: According to discogs.com, both Paus & Snah play acoustic guitar on those 2 tracks.
I enjoy the album as well. With the exception of the last track which I'm not a huge fan of, this album contains well-defined hooks, solid riffs and thoughtful lyrics. And that all within fairly normal conventional song structures.
Great stuff! Oslo opera house in 3 weeks

Ruinbyen is my fav track
So what's the correct term for this, Motorpaus or Motorole?
@GBD Thanks
@otherdemon Thanks. I'm not much of a fan of the last track either, though I could possibly have a different opinion if I understood the language!
The reason why I'm not a huge fan of Ruinbyen, is because it sounds like 2-3 half finished ideas thrown together into one 13 minute track. It's not at all bad (especially the main theme is great), but it sounds very disjointed and doesn't flow very well. Cool to see that Järmyr wrote the string arrangement for the 2nd half though.
But the rest is A+. Hvitt Lys, Vardøger and Ingenmannsland are my #1 favorites so far.
I love the album all in all. The only part i'm having trouble with is that chorus on "Fest i hovedstaden" – Cringe
@GBD: You're telling me you don't love the drunken sea shanty chorus? Blasphemy, I say :lol:
Best lyrics on the album as well.
@otherdemon: No argument about the lyrics. But i think it's a combination of Paus' delivery, and the fact that the chorus is his sort of take on this annoying childrens song ->

You probably already know that
The rest of the song is cool
