Bolts by Møster! is now out and it is magnificent! Snah’s blistering work on the final track Bearings is to die for.
Also out yesterday was a new live album by Osees. I’m not really into all their stuff, but I have a couple of albums and am very slowly exploring others. Release of the live album has been accompanied by a video of the concert from which the album has been taken. I’m about half way through the video and so far it’s been brilliant. The energy levels are off the scale. Here’s the link:
All Them Witches finally released new record “House of Mirrors” in June, and it’s my album of the year so far.

Also, Edena Gardens (members of Causa Sui and Papir) released new double LP record called “Quintessence” yesterday:
I have listened to Quintessence a few times now and i think this is my favorite Edena Gardens album so far! Really exciting stuff. Heavier and with longer songs than on their other albums. Also, their first double album with a beautiful gatefold cover. Too bad I can’t play my lp yet since my record player doesn’t work at the moment but luckily it’s also available on Qobuz (and other streaming platforms and the lp includes a download coupon but I never use those)
I saw Osees play at Vera, Groningen not so long ago. Such an amazing live band!! This was my first time and I definitely want to see them again.
I haven’t listened to Bolts by Møster! yet but I am looking forward to it.
I don’t know All them Witches but will check them out.
The new All them Witches is an amazing record, for sure.
Brazilian prog rock band Papangu released their third album „Celestial“ yesterday. Their style is a very endearing kind of “everything but the kitchen sink“: jazzy latin-flavoured prog with occasional extreme metal outbursts, all recorded, mixed and mastered completely analogously. Totally stoked to see them live soon.
