@ otherdemon: Thanks again. I edited my posting and added the Delft recording (It will never be the same again was at least performed twice and not only once).
@ jtr: Thanks! Did you see the concert or did you take your information from a recording? I have never seen a recording of this show so far!

But the problem is that a lot of those titles you listed were not recorded by bootleggers. So the info surrounding those songs will mostly be guesses.
November 25, 2009 at 15:47 #15509Hej Psychonauts
Great job Juergen. I would like to offer some suggestions of complition. Doesnt matter anyway must be “Didnt matter anyway” from Hatfield and the North album “Rotters club”, a brilliant Canterbury Band with Dave Sinclair from Caravan. “Rock Bottom” could be a link to Robert Wyatts (Soft Machine) second album “Rock bottom”. I wish for a long time that MP will play an early Soft Machine song, specially because of the simularities of Robert Wyatts and Bents voices. By the way…the silent way. I would love to hear the Bielefeld version of Joe Zawinuels “In a Silent way” which is not written by Miles Davis!!! Thanks for putting the pieces together. Love Kumar

November 26, 2009 at 01:42 #15511@Juergen concerning Vienna: I was there, and for further info see here: http://motorpsycho.fix.no/comeonin/oldforums/read.php?4,51343
November 26, 2009 at 15:41 #15512Great Job, dear nerd-mate!
Some corrections:
A Memory
Played 3 times in 1990 and an acoustic version in Spelle 1994-12-03
There is a mysterious Split, or compilation, listed on discography of the site, where “A Memory (not Tussler version)” appears.
K.T. & Me
This title was included on the selist in Colmar 2000-04-13; no further information known
may be wrong, but isn’t it “Tristano”?
Politician
Played 4 times in 1990
Queen Chinee
Played in Trondheim 1990-04-19 (1990-04-29?)
These two are both on “Maiden Voyage”.
The Trane Instrumental
Untitled instrumental which was performed in 2001; the title changed on every show; the tune developed into “Dora Peach†in 2002
Uhm, no… I remember them to be two totally different instrumental songs…
Wasted
Played 12 times in 1990 and 1991
It’s on “Lobotomizer”
Again, great job!
November 26, 2009 at 16:13 #15513He’s right about the Trane Instrumental and Dora Peach. It developed from the slow, jazzy thingy it was in 2001 to the quicker, uptempo and lighter Dora Peach in 2002.
November 26, 2009 at 20:05 #15514@ jtr, BronYAur and otherdemon: Thanks for all the additions. I edited my posting with all the information.
I deleted “Wasted” because it was released on “Lobotomizer” (I am getting old – or I haven’t listened to that album in the last few years…).
“K.T. & Me” was “Tristano”? Tristano has been played before in October 1999 (e. g. in Trondheim and Bergen). So I wonder why Motorpsycho entitled this song in Colmar 2000-04-13 “K.T. & Me” but this is possible, of course.
I still don’t regard “Maiden Voyage” as a release because only 100 tapes were issued and practically no one has an original tape.
I agree with otherdemon about the instrumental “Trane”/”Dora Peach”.
November 26, 2009 at 20:54 #15515I love this thread, keep it up!
Alex
Ps: Jürgen, did you see any of the most recent shows? We missed you and thought of you! But since you haven’t been in Berlin we figured that you couldn’t make it due to work constraints or the likes…
November 26, 2009 at 21:20 #15516@ fillmore alias Alex:
Simply private reasons like family (2 daughters), planning a house (and the lack of money due to this). No reasons to worry about me! I hope for a Bremen Schlachthof in May!
Back to topic: I love this thread, too. Every guessing about the source of a cover version or an unreleased Motorpsycho song is welcome! Hard facts are more welcome, of course!!
November 26, 2009 at 21:26 #15517I just saw on Dime that 70s hard rock pioneers U.F.O play a song called “Rock Bottom”, too.
November 26, 2009 at 21:47 #15518Great! You are right: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/u/ufo/rock+bottom_20141955.html
I added this information.
November 27, 2009 at 08:31 #15519“Kick Out the Jams” is an MC5 song. “Spaceways” is probably Sun Ra’s “We Travel the Spaceways” which is already listed, and even though MP probably picked up “Walk On Guilded Splinters” from a Humble Pie live album, it is in fact a song by Dr. John. to you for this thread, Juergen!
November 27, 2009 at 21:29 #15520@ Ratmaus: I have included all additons/corrections and have edited the posting. Thanks!
December 2, 2009 at 09:39 #15521Here is a list with approximately 50 songs Motorpsycho have released but have never played live (listed in alphabetical order). There are only songs included which were released under the name “Motorpsycho”. You cannot find songs by The International Tussler Society (or other projects) here. I counted collaborations like “Motorpsycho/Winnefred Ryan” (Snah’s mother) or “Motorpsycho with Jaga Jazzist Horns” as Motorpsycho songs.
I am not sure if “Life Is A Little Lie” (composed by Geb, released on The Motor Home 7″) should be added to this list. Is this a Motorpsycho song?
