Agree wirh Aki above and also nice insights with that podcast. Thanks. I also agree with the points cloudhawker makes about the „breather“ songs. Somewhat similar to that nonsensical „All killer no filler“ idea I mentioned. As a mindgame it‘s surely fun to skip or swap songs around, but this band’s peculiar mindset made Sungravy, NOX, Tussler, Grindstone, Go to California, TDDU and Begynnelser, so all things Motorpsycho soar beyond any traditional approach. But in here that’s stating the obvious, obviously Me I really refrain from petty criticism and unfulfilled (if any) expectations. If there‘s a song or an album that doesn’t do much for me, I still take it in as one piece of the puzzle and it sits quietly in the shelf with its brothers where it belongs. How dare I call anything they worked weeks or months on aimless or uninspired!? 8O It may be uninspiring to me/my tastes, meaning not much of a spark lits on my side but I can’t call it being uninspired on the artists’ part just because of that.
Speaking of albums, here's a post from april of an artist painting (the cover?) for a new MP album: https://www.instagram.com/p/CN5cSOkpOfB/
Any chance of a screengrab for those of us not on social media?
My interpretation of the artist’s post is that she simply painted this while listening to the latest MP album.
Dang it, I think you are right. Never mind then!
