The best team won although if Robben flipped that ball (x2) over the Spanish goalie I couldn’t care less who’s best or not.
Congrats to Spain.
Aaaaarggh!
Man, if we Dutchies have to wait another 32 years for a next shot at that cup, I’ll be 75…
Oh well it was fun while it lasted!
The Germany-Uruguay match was much more thrilling and poetic to watch. Last night was like a schoolyard brawl…”total football”? Total something all right

…and we will celebrate an Oranje kampioenschap after all and be too senile to remember all of the “net niet” moments of the past four decades
Utrecht is still standing, the only material damage I observed on our street this morning was a stack of pizza boxes that had been set on fire, and a big pile of dried vomit encrusted with chunks of frites…ewwwwwww…voetbal is patatje oorlog…
Congrats to Spain. I was happy to see them win because they played football. I don’t know what to call what the Dutch were doing, but that wasn’t football. Rather unattractive, aggressive and rude behaviour. And bad losers in the end and during the ceremony. Especially Bommel, de Jong, Robben… shame on you!
