That (= motorpsycho + Kjetil Møster) sounds very tempting – and easily reachable from Oslo. Do we know how long the “main acts” are usually playing? (I saw a timetable where Slowdive had 75 minutes, which is a little less than their usual set.)
May 15, 2026 at 09:42 #45474I noticed the Motorpsycho + Kjetil Møster gig is not listed on the band website. Do you think it’s because it’s more of an improv than your typical Motorpsycho show, or just an oversight?
May 15, 2026 at 16:58 #45476I think it’s an oversight. The Henie Onstad concert on August 23rd is not listed there either.
June 8, 2026 at 17:43 #45521Anyone knows about plans for an autumn tour? There have been a handful of German dates for September up on the official site for a while, but nothing after that. Surely that can’t be it, right?
June 9, 2026 at 12:09 #45522hey Darmok. I asked Bent the same question. Apparently its just these german dates for this year and nothing more. probably will be a major offensive next year
June 9, 2026 at 16:46 #45526Well, that is clearly not the answer I wished for, but thanks a lot for letting us know, Bernie. Maybe they need to recharge their batteries after the extensive touring of the last few years, which would be totally understandable.
June 15, 2026 at 07:31 #45550Any recording of the Motorpsycho/MØSTER show?
June 15, 2026 at 09:22 #45551Interesting will be who will be onstage after the surprise in Eindhoven
Most probably Olav since the “mini” tour is long booked … but who knows?!
July 1, 2026 at 21:05 #45575I’m considering heading over for the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter gig, mainly because it’d be easy to travel to Oslo just for the day, but I wonder if it will be as fun on a sunday in the middle of the day. Is it a good venue?
Also, I read that Dungen will be touring from the end of October through November, so I guess that means no Motorpsycho tour during that time. Unless they tour without Reine, of course!

August 14, 2026 at 12:48 #45622Confirmed on Henie Onstad website that Stian Lundberg and Reine Fiske will join for this concert.
August 14, 2026 at 15:24 #45623I would have been really pleased to see Ingvald or Olaf as well.
Stian was fantastic in Eindhoven and I’m looking forward to the upcoming tour.
Will Stian perhaps become a permanent member after all?August 20, 2026 at 16:33 #45624Kenneth Kapstad is leaving Spidergawd.
Could that indicate a return with MP?
I have zero knowledge about the back story and his relation with the band.August 20, 2026 at 18:04 #45625Kenneth left Motorpsycho because he lives in Oslo—and has a family, whom he naturally prioritizes. It’s actually incredible that he managed to commute for so many years.
Unfortunately, I don’t think Kenneth will ever rejoin Motorpsycho.
Motorpsycho rehearses so much—basically every day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
They need a drummer who lives in Trondheim and is *really* hungry for it.
August 21, 2026 at 11:09 #45626A minor correction, cjacob: He lived in Oslo when he left MP, but since 2022 he has lived in Arna, outside of Bergen.
Bergens Tidende published a fine interview with him in March 2004: https://www.bt.no/kultur/i/ondyOW/den-tidligere-motorpsycho-trommeslageren-har-flyttet-til-arna. In the interview he says that he moved there because his partner grew up there – without that link he would never have considered moving to Arna.
Which, of course, is a big insult to those of us who were born there.
