Some songs snippets sounds promising, I have to admit I'm getting a bit tired of the Prog Mach 12 riffing here and on the last few albums so I'm welcoming the slower, acoustic songs.
Love the Mellotron!

February 3, 2014 at 10:11 #25748Thanks for the links, marc and mikke.
As far as the musical content, I'm gonna await judgement until the album actually comes out.
Cool to see some string arrangements by Ohm, though. I guess they loved working with him again @ the Pstereo Blissard gig so much that they invited him to this one too. I must admit though that the thought of Kvæstor needing a string arrangement sounds a bit weird
February 3, 2014 at 15:56 #25749Vocals on Hell pt 7 is almost same as on W.B.A.T ?
February 3, 2014 at 22:57 #25750No… it's almost the same as on Hell, part 2.

February 4, 2014 at 13:02 #25753Finally a tiny difference between Stickman and Rune.
Stickman include a download code while Rune (presale not started yet) says he will include a CD.
And when Rune includes a CD it's usually in a cardboard or clear plastic envelope.

February 9, 2014 at 20:49 #25756February 9, 2014 at 22:32 #25757Thanks for the posts, GBD. I have to admit that Hell Part 7 was the track I had the worst first impression of, and after hearing most of it in the video, I'm not overly in love with it. Hallucifuge jam bass riff + Hell verses in a different key sounds very "been there done that". But it might grow. Most of the other snippets sounds very promising though.
The Vimeo page also has this announcement: Visit motorpsycho.no for further details. So it looks like they might finally launch their own website!
February 9, 2014 at 22:33 #25758That was truly awesome!
I have a really good feeling about this record.
Also this…? http://motorpsycho.no/
February 9, 2014 at 22:52 #25759I dunno….i also catched the Hallucifuge riff (only in a different note), and also, i found the guitarwork to be abit all over the place. But after having it on repeat 3-4 times it kind of grew on me. And also, this isn't the final version. The album version is a couple of minutes longer, and likely also more polished.
February 10, 2014 at 09:50 #25760Yeah, like I said it might grow on me. But for now I just hope it's the weakest track on there. And I don't think it sounds like the best song to end the album with, either.
The video however is pretty funny. The MP rock climbing championship ends up with all of 'em becoming victims of rock in the end  Interspersed with nice intimate Brygga footage, I like the video a lot.
EDIT: Did you do something to the link, GBD? Because now it disappeared from your post. But it's still on Vimeo. And now on motorpsycho.no.
EDIT2: Track lengths:
Cloudwalker (A darker blue) 6:05
Ghost 6:37
On a plate 4:08
The promise 4:39
Kvæstor (incl: Where greyhounds dare) 7:09
Hell, pt.4-6 (traitor, the tapestry, swiss cheese mountain) 12:24
Entropy 7:22
The magic & the Wonder (A love theme) 4:40
Hell, pt.7 (Victim of rock) 7:35
