The same stickfrau answered my question regarding a pre-order with ‘beginning of january, but no information about the exact date yet’.
Greetings,
Thomas
Okay, thanks.
So well, I ordered it at Bol. It says it will be delivered within 3-4 days. Somehow I doubt that…
Will wait for pre-ordering at Stickman anyway, for the vinyl-version. I’ll let you know if the bol.com thing worked out next week.

@ harry: Don’t get your hopes up, BOL is quite good at not delivering on a promise. On most order-sites they give you the ‘best case scenario’-arrival time and you find out you have to wait for a long time after your order is already final and processed.
Greetings,
Thomas
edit: On BOL the release-date is given as december 17th. I think they just forgot a month.
Just support your local record shop and order it there!
You can also order at Amazon of course – but I will try to get my Vinyl “for real” in beloved Berlin then – wow

FML!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got an e-mail from Platekompaniet saying that the release of Heavy Metal Fruit has been delayed until January 18th
On the other hand, good to see that Phoot’s Flower ends the album. Can’t wait to see what they’ve done with it since 2006.
Preorder up at Rune G.
I just heard the last bit of a review om NRK P2s Kulturnytt. Didnt get the start, but guess it will be up streaming soon. Played some snippets, and the reviwer was impressed.
Yeah, nice review on Kulturnytt. The reviewer sums it all up by saying:
“Of the three records Motorpsycho has put out in the last two years, Heavy Metal Fruit is without no doubt the best.”
The reviewer also likes the sound on the record, and points out that it´s about time that MP uses an “external” producer. I couldn´t agree more… The last three records has been too muddy for my taste… sort of underproduced. And I guess you could say that deathprod – as a producer – made a lot of the magic happen on the records from “the golden days”
Its on webradio, just check out nrk.no
I can’t find it. They only have the ones from yesterday put up there.
