I just got home after a looooong drive but man it was well worth it! Excellent gig, very good drummer and very good setlist. Ok I would have liked some more songs from the new album but that’s ok.
June 1, 2026 at 10:05 #45502Very good news! Stian is great guy indeed!
June 1, 2026 at 20:15 #45503This was a brilliant show, best one I have seen from them in a loooong long time. Like people said already: band on fire, great sound, and the new drummer is fantastic, such energy, drive and joy.
I was so happy to also get a few songs from longer ago that I expected to never hear again live (Kill some day, Sinful & Windborne, Plan #1)And of course the Effenaar, right here in my hometown Eindhoven where they played so many times in the 90s. Not sold out, but a nice, very engaged and enthusiastic crowd. Loved it!

I needed to stay in the vibe a bit more and played the old 4 horsemen of the apocalypse from Haircuts dvd last night, that rendition of Brandenburger Concerto nr. 7 by J.C. Bach (Hogwash) makes me shout out loud on the sofa and wake the neighbours! lol-

That version of Hogwash from RW3 is imo one of the best things the band ever did. Mindblowing.
Am I the only one who during the jam part of Hell thought they where going to segue into Hogwash?
June 2, 2026 at 12:30 #45511@Krist Rampage: No, you aren’t the only one. I also had the same feeling – so much so that I added a segue to Hogwash after Hell on my notes, that I later had to scrap when it was clear it wasn’t going to happen.

June 2, 2026 at 12:44 #45513Ha, I was thinking the same during Hell @Krist Rampage
That would have been awesome
June 2, 2026 at 19:18 #45514Yeah that would have made the gig even more incredible! Every time I see them play I hope they play Un Chien, the Wheel and/of Hogwash. I’m glad there are very good versions of those monsters on the Roadwork albums to return to.
I think that Bent in the jam part of Hell played the same riff as in the opening of this (great) recording of Hogwash : Live at Hveltvet Scene, Bryne, Norway on 2026-03-19
