The reliable sources are correct. 155 minutes, a really heavy show. It Was hot and humid and the club does not offer an aircondition. The club was full but not overcrowded. Fortunately it was not only half full like some venues at the beginning of the leg.

No N.O.X. yesterday but Empire's End and The Wheel instead. I would like to get noxed butI didn't want to miss the other two Songs, either. You can't have them all.

It was great to see fillmore and Francesco who hat a long way from Italy.

So… after a good four hours sleep I try to sum it up again.

I had a fantastic evening in Dresden. Sure, I also were hoping for NOX or some nice jamming but i would never complaine about what I got instead. The Songs were played very precise and heavy. Nothing to calm down or take a breath. Sound was good, only in some louder 'all in'-parts the mids of Snah got lost a bit. A thing you don't get every MP Concert, the singing was really good, even of Snah. Very harmonic! Liked it! I think the guys liked it also a lot. Bent seamt to be really really happy in the end.

It was sooo hot in there. It reminded me of a brilliant night with Motorpsycho back in 2014 in Conne Island/Leipzig when they played their 'maybe best concert ever' (Bent wrote) but due to the humidity and heat the recording stuff broke (sad face). I had to lough when yesterday my friend suddenly looked at Snah and said sth like: Holy shit, does he really wear a leather jacket in this heat? And then realized, that he is wearing a black longsleeve shirt which was so soaked with sweat, it looked like leather. Bent… crazy man… carrying the Double Neck almost the whole Show. Jimmy Page once mentioned that his Double Neck he was playing on Stage for Stairways was so heavy he ruined his back with…. So… Hats Off to Mr. Saether!!

Lets see, the songs… I have seen Frances and Rattlesnake first time live. Therefor i was super happy. Also the songs from the last record i liked a lot. Cosmoctopus was much better then i expected after seeing some vids. I loved it! Also Empire, maybe my favourite from the record was pure bliss. The Crucible is always good if the sound is good. First I was a bit disappointed when they started it cause i figured that this probably means, they won't play NOX, but then it was great, esp. with the Videos in Back. And hey… the Song fits these days even better then when it was written and seeing it in Dresden which was heavily bombed in WWII was kind of special. ^^ Also i was really happy about Victim of Rock and The Waning.

The encore was a Wall of Wheel(s). Brutal, heavy, drowny (in sweat). Last five Minutes really was a indistinguishable wall of noise. At some point i was standing there loughing maniacally for a minute or sth. because of what i was hearing. Fantastic.

Thank you SOO much for being back on Stage! My favourite spreading event so far!

Yesterday (23.05.2022) in Dresden Motorpsycho performed a total Rock show, like a discharge of energy, resulting in an ultra heavy concert. Dresden's Beatpol soon turned into a sweaty Sauna but that wouldn't stop the band from forging ahead blasting one nasty rocker after another at us, just relentless and so heavy. This show had a total different charakter compared to the two previous nights. There were also veritable rarities such as "Frances" and "Rattlesnake", both tour debuts (with only two shows left of the tour). Even the more contemplative "A Pacific Sonata", while providing a much needed breather with the first part, was executed in the second part with force the way I have never heard it before, a total stand out version. After a main set and a short encore the show was basically over after 2h10min but the crowd forced the band back for a second encore which Bent intros with "You asked for it…" and off they go into an extreme, over the top, super heavy 21 min version of "The Wheel", everyone's favourite, their most primal riff taken to incredible heights, higher and higher until the whole place is just one screaming mess. What a blast!

Thanks, Dogonz and fillmore, for the brilliant reviews – I can almost feel the sweat!

With Frances, Victim of Rock, and Rattlesnake, they reach over 70 different songs played this tour, if my count is right. (Juergen, can you confirm?)

Aaaargh…the setlist means NO WHEEL for me tonight at my homegame. At least there is hope

for a Starhamster and … no Year Zero yet. Think we get NOXed tonight. I like this one, but it's

very exhausting. Maybe an acoustic set as relief? Keep fingers crossed for a good show and recording.

And somehow I always wondered that, considering they play "Rock bottom" there was no BÖC song ever played, though Ithink "Godzilla" would fit in very well.

@Spacebandit: Tonight could be fitting with some BÖC since it's Albert Bouchard's birthday :) He didn't write "Godzilla", though (but I think Fu Manchu covered that one enough, and it's not on my fave BÖC songs list).

It's also Tomas Järmyr's birthday  Let him eat cake!

What a blast. They had me from the first second of the Plan #1 intro. Didn't expect that as an opener. As always with Motorpsycho there was some clash of expectations/hopes and reality regarding the setlist. I was secretly hoping for The Alchemyst but what we got was just as great. I mean … Frances, Greener, Lurker, Überpilgrim, Victim, everything in between and the grande finale with The Wheel. What a trip. As one shirt from the Band Don Vito says: Ears are made for ringing!

By the way, have they ever combined Überwagner and The Wheel? I thought for a second, that that could work pretty well.

Did anyone else notice that Bent introduced Snah as Bent followed by 'And my name is Snah.'? Might be a running gag, I'm not sure if they did that in Leipzig a few years back.

@dongonz where you standing behind me (the guy headbannging pretty much the whole show)? I heard some guys talking about someone wearing a leather jacket briefly. Also I was wondering if it was just me having trouble with the sound in the louder parts. I was getting lost a bit here and there, having trouble to make out the riffs and harmonies, constantly adjusting my ear plugs between a loose and a tight fit.

Martn, the guy you mentioned headbanging was the third in our merry band of misfits ^^ I was wearing a Dyse Shirt, Jeans shorts and a spacy leggins below ^^

Indeed sometimes i feel like i am the only one here complaining bout the sound at MP Concerts. But i am a bit a sound nerd anyway… ^^ This one wasn't bad. The less loud parts where crystal clear but when it got to the real loud parts it became ziemlicher Matsch (like the professionals would say :D )

What a night. Maybe even better than Munich. A Pacific a Sonata was really special.

He did that in Bremen, too.
