Dans For Voksne and Musikkfest Oslo present: DNA? AND? feat. Hans Magnus Ryan (Motorpsycho) live at Kafé Hærverk on 2 June 2018, 12:00-16:00. All ages and free entry!

DNA? AND? is a musical improvisation collective with lots of power and chromosomes, extremely cool timing and a fairly low average age. Lyrics are created on the spot, and the music is sometimes heading down the stairs, and at other times in the direction of the skinlessness that follows.

DNA? AND? consists of a bunch of kids with Down syndrome that try to figure out what to play, plus some adults that try to keep up with them. Nobody has tried to teach anyone anything, or tried to make anything seem normal. Everyone are as straight as they are or not, and there is no particular structure involved in the playing.

The collective will play in various unplanned constellations, and Hans Magnus Ryan from Motorpsycho has been invited to participate.

DNA? AND? has contributed has to a French compilation CD of outsider music and performed live at festivals such as All Ears in Oslo and Sonic Protest in Paris, the latter as a collaboration with the French noise artist Ogrob.

DNA? AND? has evolved from musical workshops organized by the concert series Dans For Voksne. They started in 2013, and the musicians behind the project are Bjarne Larsen (Salvatore, Masselys), Stina Moltu (Supervixen, Stina Stjern) and Harald Fetveit, in addition to Anla Courtis from Argentina, who is a founding member of Reynols.
