DNA? AND? is a musical collective where young people with Down and other syndroms play with professional musicians without extra chromosomes.
During the last year DNA? AND? have played at Høstutstillingen in Oslo and the Le Guess Who festival in Utrecht, released a double CD, and been presented on London radio station Resonance FM. The collective have also made their own instruments and played them with N U Unruh from legendary industrial/art rock band Einstürzende Neubauten. DNA? AND? have previously performed at Sonic Protest in Paris plus the All Ears and Blow Out! festivals in Oslo. Other collaborators include Juliana Venter, Hamid Drake (Herbie Hancock), Ole Henrik Moe & Kari Rønnekleiv (Sheriffs of Nothingness), Streifenjunko, and Hans Magnus Ryan (Motorpsycho). Recordings featuring N U Unruh and Anla Courtis (Reynols) will be out later this year, and a record featuring Snah is planned for next year.
Snah plays at the Kafé Hærverk gig, which is part of Musikkfest Oslo, along with regular members Vilde Erikstad, Vilja Ellefsen-Larsen, Zelda Røineberg, Lene Høie, Stina Moltu, Bjarne Larsen, Sambou Jobarteh, Isaaq Ibrahim, Ola Skarsæterhagen, Mats Aase Henriksen, and Harald Fetveit.
There will be three shows on Saturday, at 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm. The number of tickets is very limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, so we recommend you buy yours in advance!
